Have no recommendations as Im nowhere near Berkshire but will post a few links on your wall of venues ive found online to see what you think if you can unrestrict your profile please. It also really depends also on how much you have budgeted for the venue too. x
26th December 2007 - the day I met my special man
8th August 2008 - the day he was mad enough to propose to me
24th July 2010 - the day I felt beautiful inside and out and
became Mrs Dickie for life. xx

I can reccommend my venue - Rivervale Barn (pics on profile). It's on the border or Berkshire, Hampshire and Surrey near Sandhurst. I love it but depends on the type of venue you're after? xx
Thanks hun, I can't wait to get married there! Just had a peek at your venue pics too and it looks gorgeous!! x

Don't know how far this is from you but Taplow House hotel is beautiful, the grounds are lovely the room, honeymoon suit and the meal we are having is excellent (have had a taster) we got a really good deal if we got married on a Sunday too. Paid £5,200 for 86 guests 3 course meal (plus drinks etc) plus 2 nights in the honeymoon suit with B&B. Should add we're doing it on £10k budget too

Which end of Berkshire - Reading or Hungerford?
Off the top of my head, I'd recommend The Bear at Hungerford - I use it with work for events ect, they are professional and the food is amazing. Littlecote House is beautiful and has it's own chapel; Elcot Park has amazing grounds and I've heard they have had a refurb recently so might be worth a look... The Vineyard is stunning and as a michelin star place the food should be great :)
I work in Hungerford as a PA - My boss doesn't like meetings in the office :) so I know about a lot of the local places - if I can help, let me know.

What area are you looking for? I live in Maidenhead and looked around the Maidenhead/Burnham area. We're booked Fredricks Hotel. xx

Looking around the borders of Newbury. I think Hungerford will be too far esp for my nan who is my special guests. I have looked at Elcot Park in Newbury- waiting to arrange to view it x

Newbury Manor is gorgeous (used to use that a lot in my last job - has a river running through the grounds, is v. pretty in spring/summer), one girl at work got married at The Regency in Thatcham and it looks beautiful in her photos; and we went to the Donnington Valley hotel for a Christmas do in 2008 and they really looked after us. There are a few restuarants around here that will do reception as well.
Good luck :) x
