I am looking to get my STD's out in May but I don't want the usual postcards or fridge magnets. Does anyone have any unusual ideas for these?

what about something Apple shaped? as NY is the big apple you could do them with little labels tied to the stalk with your name and wedding date on and across the middle of the apple a siloette of the sky line? sorry if that sounds awful, I'm a bit arty farty lol

i speak to a girl on another website and her theme is the same new york as her h2b is from there. what she done was make a muffin shaped card with the new york skyline as the top of the muffin case and the writing on the top like icing writing with all the details. with the ones she handed out she also gave a mini muffin and the ones posted obviously didnt lol.
apparently muffins were supposed to be invented there and she likes muffins also ha ha ha

Or you could use the 'I heart NY' type face with your initials, we've done something similar as a logo which we've got on all our stationery, H2B's cufflinks and on envelope seal stickers we sent with the invitations - it's on my footer too! We also emailed out our STD's too to save postage, here it is:

I recently saw a video where they had graffiti-ed a wall with chalk, you'd have to be very creative to pull it off but it looked great. You could do a simpler video by holding up cards with the details, then email everybody the disk.

I sent mine out a good 9months before as our wedding was July, still lots of people didn't come because it was holiday time :/ it's worth sending the ones out to your family quite a while before x

Yes send STD a yr in advance as ppl r looking at booking holidays a yr in advance n if u r going for a summer holiday u dnt want them away on ur special day il b gutted :( i had one when my sil2b bout 4 yrs ago as a beer mat was cool xxx
