Hi ladies, sorry if this has been asked already, but what underwear are we all going for? My dress is strapless and Im having open toe shoes. So far all I have is pants! I would really like to wear suspenders but not sure if I can pull it off when Ill be wearing open toe shoes? Also Im dark skinned so do I need ivory stockings or skin coloured ones? IS anyone wearing a strapless dress with now bra? When I tried my dress on (before picking it out as the one) I tried it on with no bra and it was ok. However I cant just wear pants!

Today I bought...

Knickers with suspenders,
Stockings (nude coloured)
And a strapless bra.

If its just for the wedding night, you can always slip into it just before the end.

Thats what my stockings are like Emmielene- they had holdups aswell. Got them in John Lewis.

No idea yet - toying with a waspie in a dark red as the dress is strapless but not sure whether it will be suitable yet already spoken to shop owner where my dress belongs and she can't guarantee it so not certain yet.

Other than that nice sexy knickers *not a thong or g-string* (in red or ivory) and hold ups (nude or white).

At least that's the current plan.

got a ivory bra/knickers combo, there almost a nude colour tbh and may wear hold-ups :-)

I'm going to be wearing my normal bridget jones knickers, i want to be comfortable on the day. Will get a new pair for the day. I will get something special for a night when we got home, or for when we go away on a minimoon.

I know you can get toe less tights, i would have thought you could get toe less stockings, for you girls wearing open toed shoes.

I'm wearing my wellies, so wont be bothering with stockings, i'll be wearing thick walking socks, more than likely black and white cow print ones, if i can find any. xx

I will be wearing tartan tights as a surprise to my guests and new husband, bridget jones pants (she let me borrow them honest lol!) but shiny material as h2b loves them lol, comfy bra big enough to hold my babies, and a big smile on the day! I never change my get up, even for my own wedding day. xx

lol, love it spooney! I may stick to what I know, but I definitely would like suspenders as its not what I would normally wear and know h2b would love them

I will be getting a strapless bra, wearing normal cotton knicks, stockings and suspenders (more comfy than hold ups!). i read in a mag that you should wear stockings nearest your skin tone rather than cream - you can buy them designed to wear with open toes and that is what I am going to do as I have open toed shoes too! xxx

i wore,white strapless bra,no problems
i put on these white lacey knicker things but as i was walking they were hiking up my bum,so they came off and on went my lil miss naughty knickers,,ohhhhh the comfort,i cheated,glenn had no idea i had them on,so when we got in a nipped in the loo and slipped the white ones back on
i also bought white high top lacey stockings,but ended up not wearing them as it was to hot,but they have proved usefull since!!!!

Sugar i didn't even think about going to the loo - sounds silly I know but it's not something I ever contemplated when looking at dresses. lol. *feels even blonder than I actually am*
