How did you/will you pack your dress for weddings abroad? I didn't book the wedding package with the tour operator so don't have any extra allowance to carry my dress. Would prefer to have it with me at all times.

I didnt book my wedding through a tour operator ether, i was in two minds what to do but in the end i put it in my suitcase xx You could always put it in your hand luggage, but its likely to get more creased, hence why i used my main suitcase xx

Did you have to pay extra?

There is a company on the bay of e that sell special boxes to transport your dress abroad and they are approved sizes by the airlines, I'll see if I can find it for you hun x
I've seen a few brides on long haul flights take their dresses on in the dress bag and the crew always hang it up for them somewhere safe where it won't get crushed :D xx

If we get married abroad im deffo getting a dress box to put it in xx

I think I may go with the box or maybes a dress bag to be hung as this would take up less room although we have allocated extra allowance for our attire x

you only have to ask the airline and they usually let you put it in the captains closet so it doesn't get squashed
