Ive decided to have a sweetheart table simply because my fiancé parents are divorced and re married dont get on the usual. Just wanted advice . How many per table do you normally have. Were having 50 for the wedding breakfast. Also as my mom isn't with us an longer im confused as to where to seat my dad.... with family or close to the head table with the bridesmaids any advice would be greatfully received :)

Our venue have tables of 10- I woukd speak to the venue as depending on numbers they usually have a set layout- I would ask your dad who he would like to sit with I think- see where he round feel more comfortable :-) xx

Round tables usually sit 8-10 people at weddings. If you're having a sweetheart maybe ask your dad who he'd prefer to sit with and then maybe just make sure that table is next to yours x

We had a sweetheart table too, it was really lovely to be able to sit down together and reflect on the day without feeling we had to "entertain" anyone, if you know what I mean. It was the first chance we'd had to really talk to each other about the day so far.
We had tables of 10 - well, I think we actually had one table of 10, two 9's and one 8. As the ladies above have said I'd just ask your dad where he would feel most comfortable.

We have 80 people including us, all round tables and 8-10 per table but trying to avoid 10 where I can as it gets a bit cosy
