I love rain wedding pictures, they look stunning x

I'd be chuffed with some of the picture opportunities but I think I would be pretty gutted in general lol. Imagine your gorgeous dress getting soaked and muddy!

I'd be mortified to be flooded out of our venue, but they look like they pulled off a 'having fun anyway' look! Hats off to them!

people have fab photos in the rain but id stioll like it to be dry think id just look like a drowned rat if it rained lol xx

I won't be too bothered, the only thing I wanted the quartet to roam around in the courtyard with the guests during the drinks, and if it's a bit rainy or wet out there, they won't want to.

I thought it was lucky to have a little rain on your wedding day (though just a little, not a flood!!). I have my wedding brolly prepared for any April showers next year but I would be a bit gutted if it was non stop x

Apparently rain on a wedding day means the bride is fertile lol.

We didn't mind the rain as it let up when we needed it to and was quite nice to be inside in the warmth when it started chucking it down during the wedding breakfast.

I'd be gutted if it rained as the grounds are beautiful but if it does it does! Not much we can do...... There are sheltered places we can have photos done.

o no what a nightmare. Im getting married in october so expecting any type of weather. Going to get some umbrellas to be prepared and bonus if not needed x

It wouldn't be the end of the world for me if it rained on our wedding day. Our photographers are excellent with using rain and lighting to create some beautiful effects and venue is prepped with brollies for guests. This may sound odd but I also don't want blazing sunshine on my day either. I love taking photos and for me as someone who loves whipping out my SLR at any given oppertunity I prefer lightly overcast weather which gives the best light.

Chances of this happening on my day in August? Hopeful.

October is a lovely time of year with the colours. Would have loved to get married in Autumn if it wasn't for the fact I get easily cold :(

A friend of mine planned a wedding in February, she said having a winter wedding you are not going to worry about the weather, turned out she had a beautiful crisp sunny day

it rained most of the morning on the day of our wedding but we did get married in November was hoping it would just be cold. It was also raining as I left the house to go to the hotel. (I got ready at home as I wanted to go from there) but we managed to get some lovely pictures as it stopped as the photos were done.

My son's wedding it was a lovely day in June but it hammered down in the evening the roads were flooded...

Oh dear - I can imagine a marquee in a field if it's really chucking it down heavily for hours on end could be an issue unless there was a non-grassy path leading up to it. Would be a nighmare sinking in mud for the bridal party and wedding party.
