Ahhh looking at the weather forecast it looks like it is meant to rain for the big day! I am staying positive and hoping the forecast might change (Its hardly ever correct anyway). Umbrellas that are in the lost may come in handy!

The weather has been changing so much recently I don't think you can rely on the forecast! Even if it does rain though you will hardly even notice - you'll be too busy enjoying every moment of your special day. I've heard a lot of brides say they didn't even notice the weather.
I've been thinking about getting some white vintage-y looking umbrellas in the event it rains when I get married - if you have any room left in the budget they might be good to consider? They would look lovely in the photos as well xx

I'm going to get a couple of white umbrellas at some point as well, just in case. Hopefully the bridesmaids will have the sense to get something for the walk to the reception, but I might remind them nearer the time if it looks like it might rain.
30th August 2014 was the best birthday ever.
It was the day that I became Mrs. Dixon.
This umbrella is lovely but it's not cheap. There are plain white ones without the frills which are a bit cheaper. The car we've hired provides a white umbrella in case it rains so we won't have to hire one. They also provide a faux fur belero to go around your shoulders if it's cold.

Umbrellas can make really cute photos, definitely making a note of that for nearer the time :)

Dont believe the weather yet - start panicking maybe the day before then but until then relax and pray for the best weather - I am doing the same thing. Im not going to buy an umbrella - I will try and be an optimist!!

I've seen the weather forecast be a chance of 50% rain for the following day and then it's just been cloudy in the morning and sunshine in the afternoon so definitely don't take it as set in stone x

Don't believe any of it, the day of our town carnival the week before was forecasting rain and even the morning of it was saying that afternoon would be raining, but by lunch time that day had changed its mind and said it would be clear and it was glorious sunshine.

We get married tomorrow and it's forecast for rain. Luckily we picked our venue with the unpredictable English weather in mind lol so the only thing we need to be outside for is the full group shot and the confetti shot; otherwise everything is taking place indoors.
We've bought some nice brollies (green for the bridesmaids and ushers, ivory for me, the chief bridesmaid and junior bridesmaid) and they're really nice, so if worse comes to worse..

I have been checking the forecast each day for the past 3/4 days and it keeps changing every day so I am not worrying about that until the day before. My friend bought me a purple heart shaped brollie which is our theme so I will use that if needed. H2b pointed out that fingers crossed most days where we have had rain it doesnt rain all day.

Okay for those of you who's wedding is more than 48hrs away... relax. A forecast is never set in stone and is a vague guess AT BEST which uses current patterns and patterns from previous years. I cannot tell you how many times I have been told "Oh it's *** tomorrow!" and have it turn out completely different. Weather predictions change all the time.
My advice is have contingincies FOR EVERYTHING. We live in the UK and guess what... it rains. A lot. So invest in a pretty Bridal brolly and speak to your photographer about the possibility of it raining and how you can use this to your advantage.
eg: My photographer does amazing work with lighting up the rain in a photogragh at night time shots.
