ok girls, so my other half works for a white goods company who sell top of the range washing machines, cookers etc. after a few drinks at the pub he suggested we name the tables after such machines. he loves his job and knows all the product numbers ~(sad i know). he suggested calling the tables W106, WS428. etc etc. his best man also works in the same field so could say about this in the speech and i think it would get people chatting etc. does this sound stupid tho. HONEST OPINIONS PLEASE.

I think it's funny! And therefore brilliant. A picture of the model next to the table name would be great :D
Although, just one point - it might be difficult for peopleto remember what table they're on, if they have to go through and find W121 amongst W102 and W136... You could make the machines on the pics a different colour, then they don't have to remember a model number, just follow the colour.

thats brilliant; you could still use the numbers if you did like 104, 206, 308; go up by the hundreds every time and then it works like 1 - 2 - 3 in their heads, and it makes it easier :] <3 x

Don't feel silly Hun, My H2B is a pilot and he wants to use the different types of aircraft eg Boeing 737, 747 and such. Now i know we both work in the airline but i think its a bit much. His other idea was airport names or aircraft terminology.
