A friend had a similar thing at her wedding with glasses that had coloured sand/gel with little fairy lights inside. They looked really pretty.

Naomi, theres acrylic crystals, gel balls, Sand, coloured water with floating candles, pearls, petals theres loads of different things you can try hun :) x

I couldn't make my mind up between the birdcages or the fish bowls with flowers but when our florist posted the pic of the birdcage I knew then that's what I wanted :) x

Our venue provides candle bras, crystal goblins or tall vase with long stemmed flower although I think you might have to pay for crystal goblin. I'm going for tall vase with long stemmed flower a lily I think

I'm having a winter wedding so I was going to embrace the DIY ideas, spray some small branches silver and arange them in tall glasses, I'm then going to hang black baubles on them with the names of the guests on that table on each bauble, leave a sharpie on the table and ask the guests to write a wedding wish on the back of their bauble so that we can keep them and put them on our xmas tree!!! Not sure if it will work I'll do a trial run a bit closer to the time but in my head it seems like a great idea lol

Thanks for the bump glitter fairy! I am really struggling with ideas for centure pieces! I have some fish bowls but have no idea work to do with them. I need some very budget friendly ideas please, my colour is lilac and ivory and my theam is butterfly's. Ideas and pics would be aprehated. We're having a literature theme, so we are having a pile of vintage books tied up with a really nice piece of chiffony ribbon in our colour scheme, then as each table is going to be named after a literary couple the book that they come from is going to be stood up either against or on top of the pile :-) xx
