Wedding Forum - Table centres. what are you having?...

We had two long tables of 9 people each - and had hexagonal mirrors with ivory hexagonal lanterns sat on them, tea lights inside and ivory rose petals sprinkled on the mirrors as well. Along the tables we had blue crystals scattered.

For our reception we're going to have round posies of orange & blue gerberas in vases tied with a silver bow :) With small candles & blue scatter crystals on the tables.
If we keep the gerbera stems long enough in tall vases we'll use them to line the aisle for our blessing beforehand.
Figure then we can trim the stems and can give out the posies/vases as thank yous? :) Xx

I originally had much bigger crazy plans for my table centre pieces, but have come up with a few more simple plans, 1, a single Dyed Blue orchid in a cream Pot with a royal blue ribbon and a little figure Dalek, cyberman, weeping angel etc in the pot, but then I saw these cool fish bowls with orchids in with mirrors below that light up for the evening

Cool Isn't it, and would be so good in the evening with the lights down low!

We had fish bowls on mirrors with sweets in our colour scheme inside (Parma violets and chocolate limes). They were sat on lilac organza with lights. You can kinda see it in the picture

We're having fish bowls with peach water beads in and thinking of having cream/ivory gerbera in there too. I've bought some diamantes to scatter around the bowls too x

I was thinking of having 3 wine glasses on a mirror, scattered diamantes on the mirror, and in the glass have blue stones at the bottom and floating candles. Not sure how this would look? Might be a bit plain.

Sprucey, I know these are not martini glasses, but you could do it and fits your colour scheme. They are different.



Or go with floating candles

As we're only having an evening do we don't need a big extravagant centrepiece for the tables. We want lots of little odd glass wear, coffejars, jam jars etc with faux flowers floating in water or floating candles.
Something nice n simple.

Very pretty Stephanie! Very artistic, Im Rubbish with thinking of my own things! I. Thinking of something like these in my colours or quite simple, my venues quite dark and glamour like where we are having our meal as you can see so I think the lights in there would work well?




Obviously I won't be including the car as venue decor.... :)

I. Not sure what the first has got in it just those gels balls with LEDs obvs without the 007 signs in them! They'll be on a mirror plate with some table sparkles so think lights are a must really. Hoping the decorator can just come up with something similar without me having to think about it! Lol

Last wedding I went to they had minatute pine trees with glitter. So simple but yet effective

Loving all these different ideas :)

We want bird cages with flower garlands entwined through the bars :) pastel coloured flowers with a shabby chic kind of feel. Also want to scatter petals and pearls round the base x

I want something quite tall, however don't have much money in the budget so think it will have to just be balloons but I'm worried it will look cheap :( x

Future Mrs h, how about some tall twigs/branches with fairy lights?
