My bridal shop was at ramside hall wedding event for bridesupnorth today i saw on their fb page "menswears very special offer" it would be 2 weeks before i put deposit on the suits but asked my dad to lens me £100 for deposit today and to oay him bk in 2 weeks..and to come with me(as every1 else at work n i have 2 kids) he was a bit worried about coming "everyome will think its me your marrying" lol! Only 1 did but not to worry haha!! Anyway we found the bridal and menswear stand and the guy straight away reconised me haha (i pop in alot to pay bits off my dress) and he fone an amazing deal! So firstly we had 4 adult suits and 1 childs (only shirt rouche and waistcoat) with groom free it came to £379 this was a quote he gave me a few weeks back. Then £20ontop for shoes. So weve added an extra suit in so expected £493 + 100 for shoes... he said today "379 included the shoes(it did NOT but ok lol) so take the 80 off and add another suit in thsts £413 and the offer we hsve on is free shoes for every member"
Sooo weve basicaly paid £34 for an extra suit and 5pairs of free shoes lol!
In all it saves us £180!!
Im over the moon lol. He had no reciept book so dad paid on his card so we.got a card reviept and he wrote it all down on his copy along with my name etc and the price given and we are going in on friday to sort the proper order form out(as i say he had no reciept book etc there with him)

Excellent!! We found that wedding fairs were great if we were ready to book things there and then. We got money off of our cake and photography package which was a bonus! Xxx

We were going to put deposit down in 2 weeks but i thought id jump at the chance to save some money and mam was straight away saying we will lend u it if it saves u money 2 weeks is nothing (they know hey get it back off me the day i say they will lol)
Dad said i couldnt pass that saving off either so he was more than happy to help when he was there :-)
If i orderd in shop i would have only got groom free and wluld have shoes to pay cos as i say they definatly werent included in the first quote he gave me. We added an extra groomsman on since then which is why he needed to requote. So glad haha :-)

That's great. It's funny how they sometimes trip up and works out better for us haha.
I went to ramside yesterday butwasonlythere about 15 minutes! Tbh I only went for the fashion show (lol!) and to see cars as we've booked everything else. Had a couple of bits of cake though ha! I try not to get too close to them as you can't pull away even though we're all booked up. Ended up not seeing the show too as OH was too impatient as didn't realise it started later!x
