I usually associate pastel shades with spring. Are you having this as your theme? If not dont feel you have to stick to a certain colour palette just for that time of year. Saying that I imagine a spring theme would look lovely. xx

I thought I wanted summer colours cos my wedding is in July but I ended up changing my mind when I shopped for bridesmaid dresses and now I am having aubergine which is quite dark. You can have whatever you want no matter what season. But pastels in spring does sound nice x

My wedding theme is christmas with a silver snowflake design on all stationery, snowflakes on the cake, wedding favours...with snowflakes on.....basically snowflakes everywhere! My colours are claret and ivory. Most brides are having a theme/colour scheme ie butterflies, disney (like hails on here) beach theme, halloween theme etc .....or colours ie black and white, silver and purple, lilac and white etc.... If you decide on a theme usually its easier to make everything co-ordinate and look lovely. It also helps too when deciding music and other things etc... as for my christmas theme im having christmas carolers before my ceremony. If you have questions or advice we are always here to help. xx

Actually mini eggs would be a great favour or to use in those lil buckets. Cizzy it may be a good idea to start a thread on here asking what everyones wedding themes are and what kind of theme they could suggest for a spring wedding. You will get lots of suggestions to give you a starting point hun. xx

I think pale green would be lovely, that was my first choice but then saw the emerald green dresses for the BMs and fell in love with them! How about a lovely pale yellow? Thats very spring like... daffodils, tulips, fluffy chicks!

Another starting point and I should have mentioned this first is ....think of things you and your other half love, possibly incorporate things that mean something to you both. I know a lady on here from wales was thinking of welsh love spoons as favours. Another lady wanted some sort of cake topper with her husband to b's family coat of arms on. That kind of thing xx
