    Hey guys!

Just wondering if anyone has booked their wedding then later on the venue has offered a special deal to new brides to entice them in. I’m a bit annoyed my venue has done this, I get married in 5 months and now they have an enticement offer to book and this is the first one I know of since we booked ours 2 years ago. Why are they rewarding people who need a sweetener and stinging those of us who booked our dream venue? Am I wrong with this? I know offers come and go but to tell me my menu tasting will cost £40 for 2 of us 3 days ago then offer a free tasting session for up to 4 (as well as free afternoon tea for bride and bridesmaids and a room the night before the wedding) just think it’s wrong and I’m going out my mind. It’s the principle and lack of respect. The offer has also been on since November so telling me £40 for wedding menu tasting when most people do it free is a joke.

I would email the venue and ask why yours is £40 if its now free. Maybe they will knock money off or give you it complimentary. It can be quite annoying to miss out on a deal but normally money off deals. The offer they have, are they saying specific dates only? If so, that's the catch! I got lucky with my venue and my wedding dress. My wedding venue had an all inclusive deal on so i got my entire day for an absolute steal! When i ordered my wedding dress they had a deal on where you got a free veil so i saved myself a fortune on that too.

Deffo send some communication to the venue and let them know they have an unhappy bride. My original coordinator was god awful and messed up EVERYTHING so they knocked a further £500 off my venue bill and i have an amazing coordinator now so it is definitely worth complaining!! lol
