I've found my perfect dress, it's a Sophia Tolli though... all i know is that it sounds expensive. Does anyone know where i can find my dress for a cheap price or where to begin? They never put the price on the dresses online!!! xx

Have a look at the stockists in your area and get in touch with them to see if they have it in stock :) some Sophia Tolli ones aren't too bad, I guess it just depends what your dress budget is xx

I think they are in a range between approx £1100 - £1800 but don't quote me on that. I'm sure I saw it somewhere on a bridal store website as I've been looking at ST dresses too. I have appointment with a bridal store a week on Saturday and hoping to try on a couple of her dresses I've seen that I like.
Which one do you like?
You may be lucky and get one in a sample sale.

Mine is sophia Tolli-i bought the sample as it was about to be discontinued and got it for £1050 but it was supposed to be £1400/£1500 if i remember rightly xxx

The one i's head over heals with is Leighanna, it's more of a couture dress but with the added glamour of a train and a gorgey sweetheart neckline.... have a look and let me know :)
In Dreamland, let me know how your trying on is, i've not booked one. I've been putting it off with losing my Mum as it's the one thing that's supposed to be special but my gorgey sister has shouted at me and told me we have to put an appointment!

Ooh, I like the sound of these posts, think I may be able to get a dress for less than I thought (possibly) if I like them when I try them on, amazing how something gorgeous on the hanger just doesn't do it and others that you are a little dubious of can look stunning!
Will let you know how I get on next weekend. Bit nervous about it.
So far I've tried on 6 dresses, I loved 2 but one I would feel silly wearing all day (proper big, poofy and princessey), the other is princessey without as much volume.
Narelle is stunning, I hope they have that at the store when I go to try. The one I have my eye on also is Y21160.

Just be honest n explain you want to save money and if the sample fits you ask if there's any way you can buy it, the worst they can say is no, to which just reply that you'll go elsewhere then. They usually relent then, haha.x

If I go for the one that is my possible at the moment I will ask about buying the sample if it's in good condition, it seemed pristine when I tried it on as it needed alteration but not drastically I don't think xxx

Mine needed alteration, it was one size too big but she agreed to alter it and steam clean it for an extra £150, so it still only equalled out at £800 altogether.x

hi there, I got my Giada dress for £600 in a sample sale when it was meant to be about 1100 they are stunning and you can find some real bargains. i went into a local stockist and tried a full price one on and once i knew the size that fitted i googled it and found someone up north selling a sample :)

Hayley i got my dress from the Bridal Gallery in Preston.Are you in Liverpool? They have shops in Liverpool,Southport and Chester too.When i was looking for dresses the lady in Preston said the shop in Southport stocked the most Sophia dresses but it didn't go as i had already found 'the One' Its certainly worth trying their shops out though,if the staff at the other shops are half as nice as the ladies in Preston,they cannot do enough for you,they are lovely. I didn't try Leighanna on there though,that was in Blackpool,another lovely shop though,can't remember its name but i know the name of the road if you plan on going that far afield xxx

Hayley - oops, didn't look at this thread again until today .............the dress trying on last month was not a good experience I'm afraid and the ST dresses I tried on (the ones I was actually looking forward to trying on) just didn't work for me, guess I'm either or both too short/not skinny enough for them. Plus, the shop itself and the staff were very disappointing, terrible service which all added to the disappointment. So my favourite dress and possibly "the one" is still the Madeline Issac James dress from the boutique in Epping that I tried on in March which I cannot stop thinking about and when I tried it on I didn't really want to take it off.

I've paid for and picked up my dress, need to loose 3 dress sizes in a year. But apart from swimming I can't do any exercise until my knee is fully fixed, not even supposed to be working but as h2b is off sick atm and me only being one stage away from the sack through sickness I just have to keep plodding along and resting my knee wherever possible.

Where did you try the dress and how much was it ? I only ask because,and i don't know what your budget is ,when i tried it i was pleasantly suprised as it was under £800 which i thought was really reasonable for Sophia Tolli. Did the dress you tried on in the bridal shop fit you? If it did, you could ask to buy the sample off the shop, that would make it cheaper - that's what I did and got my st for half price.x

I bought Leighanna, fell in love when tried it on, £725 then £90 for alterations and £15 to put straps on. It really is the perfect dress cant stop looking at photos of me in it at trying on. makes me feel beautiful and slim which is quite a challenge, very flattering :-) xx
