Hi all just seen this picture online and its soo cute regarding confetti, i know people use the traditional confetti or bubbles (currently what im going for) but has anyone used mini pompoms in your theme colours?

they look cute! they may be a bit heavy to stay in the air long enough to be captured by camera though?

Can you buy a sample and test it against normal paper confetti?

Haha they're soooo cute and sooooo easy to make !! Be really quick to make ones that small too :-)
Lyndsey's right though, they'll probably more drop than float graciously like confetti xxx

I've seen this idea a couple idea but never seen a photo of the pom poms in action. My question is who will clean them up afterwards?

Also found this pic, when they have been thrown i think you would only get away with using them if you use bright colours, the burst of colour will look fab! lol but messy haha x

Yay! I always wondered what it would look like. Maybe if you did it somewhere they could be swept up from it'd be alright. I just know a lot of venues are very specific about confetti or it's banned altogether. I could just imagine what they might say about pom poms.

I'm having my ceremony in a village old town hall, next door is a nursery, maybe they could recycle them for crafts

I like things that are a little bit different, but like the others have said I'd worry that they might not fall properly for the photos. X

Ha Ha! I bet they'd love them. Maybe you could get the children to collect them too.

I am having cones like these but filled with dried rose petals instead of the popcorn in the picture.

I am slightly confused, so please forgive me - don't the guests bring their own confetti? I am sure this has happened at weddings I have been to in the past. Is this now the new thing to be done? If so better add it to the list lol x

It's becoming more popular to provide confetti....

Personally I think the Pom poms would be heavy for the pics and is hate to go around picking them all up x
