so last night i messaged a few people who i had not herd from regarding their rsvp to check they had recieved their invite. a lod of them had not, no idea why, they we sent ages ago. but 3 of them OHs cousins are going to be unable to come as they have booked a holiday , even tho we told them the date back in march last year. I feel really upset about this but then on top of that...
after thinking we had finally settled on a dress (the multiwrap/ infinity style dresses) my cousin now turns around to me and says I don't think that dress will suit the other 2 bridesmaids, and I think its a bit to old for her daughter. Im so **** off and annoyed. we only have just over 3 months till the wedding. I was so sure on these dresses and now it got me second guessing it, but I cannot find anything else, that is in budget, the right colour and can do junior aswell as adults. I want all to be happy, but my cousin only ever seems to have anything to say if its negative.

As for the dresses.. what do your other 2 bridesmaids think of the dresses? At the end of the day it's not your cousin's place to say she doesn't think the dress will suit the other 2. If they like the dresses and feel comfortable in them, and if you're happy with them, then that's all that matters!

I have now sent her a load of pictures, showing little girls in the dresses the same age as her daughter and younger. and pictures of bigger ladies in the dresses, and shes is still coming back saying that she thinks the other 2 should still try them on, but there is nowhere that sells them on the highstreet that have them in stock just to see them on, and we have limited time. and like you say flossie the other 2 are happy with them, I have one of these dresses but a shorter smaller one(to small really) one on them has bigger bust than me but only a small bit, and the other is smaller than me.
I don't have time for this, its making me second guess it,but there is nothing else. unless she wants to spend like £300 that i know she can't afford and neither can I.
I just talked to my mum about it and shes singing off the say hynm sheet as me , my oh and you. Its not up to here to say about the other girls, if they are happy. I can't even talk to my bestie as i don't want to turn around and say my cousins moaning about the dresses due to her saying she thinks they won't suit her being bigger.

If you like the dress, just make them wear it! Its your day not theirs, and if you likes it before, whats the problem, its just them, they want to be centre on attention so just ignore them and say well its this dress, cos im on a budget, if they dont like tell em dont bother wearing one at all then!

In regards to your cousin giving her opinion on the dresses... it's not up to her to speak for the other two. If the other two have a problem I am sure they would have told you.
In regards to your RSVPs I know how you feel. One of my cousins went an booked a holiday earlier this year for exactly the same week of the wedding after I sent them a Save a Date nearly a year and a half ago and created a FB page specifically for guests to get info on hotels etc. It's upsetting because I thought we were close and he recently had a baby with his missus and I've never had a chance to meet her. In the end though. Its their choice.

tell her to get stuffed. i got so much grief over my bm dresses because of two of the girls i ended up worrying about it, and they just ended up 'tainted' on the day because i let it bother me so much even though the two bms in question were no longer even bms!

Me and the girls found somewhere in Plymouth that had the twist wrap dresses, and we went and they tried them on and they loved it, and looked to great on them. Is £185 per dress there the with nothing for juniors, so are going to stick the the d41nt y4rd one which had worked out £58 per dress for adults and £25 for junior.
