I've been quoted £150 for my wedding hair (no trial) which is way out of my budget and will be looking elsewhere for someone to do my hair.
The problem is that the same company are doing my makeup on the day as well which is also £150. I have already had my makeup trial and paid the deposit but now I am having second thoughts as to if I really liked it, if it was my style as bridal makeup is quite heavy and not something I'm used to and whether I can do it myself and have some lovely products to keep afterwards with the money I will save.
Any tips on how I can politely decline the use of their services for hair and makeup? I know that I will lose the deposit I've paid for the makeup (as it was the trial payment) but I am having second thoughts as to whether it's something I really liked.
The wedding is only 6 weeks away and I'm so confused!

Just tell them that regrettably you have overspent on the budget and will be unable to use their services on the day of your wedding and that you hope you have given them enough notice so that they can fill the spot x

I have been getting lots of qoutes and most of them are coming in at £60 for hair and £50/ £60 for make up.
Yep I would just tell them unfortunately youve under budgeted so can no longer afford their services xx

Wow that's is expensive- I woukd just cancel and say it's over budget- never know they may give you a discount
I spoke to my hair dresser and I'm going with her- she knows me and my hair so I'm seems sensible thing to do- she's charging £100 for my hair and make up and then £50 for hair and make up for each BM which I don't think is too bad, trial for hair and make up is £25
