I need music for signing the register - we have 1 song but apparently need 4!!!

thats weird ..i asked at venue about how many songs for this and my co-ordinator said unless im writing a story in the register, just need 1 song

we picked martine something or other,perfect moment,our signing took around 15 mins,as they arnt allowed to actually take pictures when you sign the register because of data protection so they use a blanc page and you pretent your signing for that bit ,so i think that one song played about 4 times lol

I'm making a disc up and going to use that to play while waiting for me and then continue it to play when we are signing. I'm using loads of things like Eminem Piano version (sounds so cool and classical lol) and lots of other instrumentals that people will know yet because they are all on the piano they sound really posh. I downloaded the you tube converter so I can convert any you tube video into an mp3. Its great for getting all the tracks I want.

can i just ask, is it the venue or the registrar that tells you how many songs you can have?
Can i not have introduction music playing BEFORE i walk down the aisle??? as people getting to their seats???? xxx

You can have music on waiting for the bride. My venue is providing the sound system for it in the room and will change the cd's over for when I come in/walk out etc.

did music for weddings for years. planning on being a real poser at mine and getting my kids from school to sing a medley of love songs!
normal song lengths i always said you need two for definite and a third as a back up.

Is that Heaven as in the Bryan Adams original that was redone as a dance tune? I'm having the orginal as our first dance :-)
As for ceremony music we are using Enya as music b4 my entrance and for signing of register, H2B always been a fan and its nice and classical sounding! Going to use the traditional wedding march music for my entrance and our exit

We've not got a lot of room for choice of songs in church. My friend is singing for us whilst we sign - he has a fab opera voice and will sing ave maria. We're not allowed any modern songs :0( The next best thing is 'You raise me up' which will be the back up song!

That's the only bad thing about getting married in a church i suppose :-( I still wish i could get married in one tho but not allowed as my H2B is a divorcee!

i had 3 songs altogether chasing cars for walking in lonestar amazed and take that rule the world (was meant to be greatest day but found rule the world first on my phone - explanation below lol) for signing although not sure how many times each song was played x
my one bit of advice is if you are making your own cd with the music on make sure you check it works on the morning of the wedding and also check it works on the cd player they provide as mine decided not to work although luckily i had my phone on me with all the songs i had picked on it so was able to use that - ive never scrolled through songs so quick before lol xx
**edit** got my cd back from my friend (he had it in his car along with the ring boxes) an i decided to check it on my own cd player an surprise surprise it worked lol so i think it was just that it didnt want to play on the one they had lol xx
