I can't help with where to find one sorry but a friend of mine has one in his hall and it's so lovely to see it and read all the lovely messages when you're taking your shoes off! I think they are lovely. I'd be interested to know where to get one myself if anyone knows. xx

I have seen a canvas ones and thinking of having that...we are going to have a engagment photoshoot and use one of them :-). I think there a good idea as you can have it up in your house when will you get a book out and look at again and again lol...only thought I had was people been silly to the pick ie putting moustache on us so my MOH will be stood by itas people come in on the night xx

My friend had one of these last year and really regretted it! Unfortunately as the night went on and people got more and more drunk the messages being written on there got very rude and some of them were a little offensive! She was absolutly gutted the next day when she read it and ended up throwing it away, meaning that she lost all of the nice messages people had left too. So I think what we are going to do is get people to write their messages on little pieces of paper and then put them in a wish box for us, and then we will take all the nice ones and make a border around our wedding photo using those instead xxx

I have put the link on your walls ladies and one on mine. We got the idea from my son who got married in June but must admit mine is alot nicer lol. I've been to a couple of weddings where they have had a book and each time someone had split a drink on it so think its the luck of the draw. The frame we have we had choice of border and also colour of pen as well really pleased with mine. x

We went to a wedding where they got everyone to sign it as they entered then it was taken away before anyone got too drunk! Great idea though and something to look back on x

I've been keeping my eye open in the cheap stores for a frame with a largish boarder, wil kos, £ land shops like that. Wil kos had a lovely one and really reasonable. I'm going to put a photo of our wedding day in it. x

We've only got 16 guests not having a disco or entertainment, just a few fun games and a drink together, so it's ideal for us. I'm also having a binded book, with pens, pencil and colouring pencils, so that everyone can write messages, advice and draw pictures in throughout the day and night.

Went to a big sweddish shop this weekend and can buy the inserts first at 50cm by 50cm for around £8 so thinking of doing that and getting everyone to sign it then we can go back and buy the frame after wedding so match colour schemes of house.... would the insert get grubby or broken as only card? Or do you think we should pass it around framed so more secure? xxx

Its a nice idea, tbut what linzi said has worried me, I think Im going to go with the wish tree idea instead, that way if people write something rude I can just put them in the bottom of the wedding box and the nice ones can either be framed or go in the wedding album x
