I look in pawn shop windows all the time, although admittedly my favourite jewellery porn is a particular shop in Edinburgh which is very expensive but very reasonable at the same time (they sell antique jewellery of the highest calibre but without huge markups on it).

Hey ladies, all of your rings are absolutely beautiful, its lovely to see them all. Not being a power user I dont think I can put mine on here but its in my pictures on my profile. I saw it 2 months before the proposal and fell in love with it. I was wedding dress shopping with one of my friends and there had been no mention of marriage for me, even after 8 year together lol. However my friend told my boyfriend about the ring and little did I know he had gone to get it sorted out so he could ask me on NYE 2010. He did risk things slightly as he didnt buy it until a week before christmas and I had originally seen it at the begining of November, he just needed to make sure with my friend that it was the correct one. This worked to keep me fooled though as I kept seeing it in the shop window and getting more and more secretly upset that it had not been bought by him of course lol! Its second hand and probably about 40 years old so not an antique and not brand new either. I wanted something with a dainty band and tiny sparklers and this one has 7 diamonds and I love it. Steven made me very very happy to have bought the only ring I've ever seen that I liked and to get it resized perfectly for me and then of course to ask me to marry him. Happy times all round xx

these are ours...really bad pic but they are in my mums safe now so cant get a better one till the wedding day, pic totally doesnt do them justice mine is so much sparklier, although its smaller than my original plan i loved them together and it matches my eternity ring perfectly..hehe :D

Im not a power user so cant upload a photo, My Engagement ring is my profile picture tho :) My fiance proposed the day before my 21st when we were on holiday in spain and i had spotted the ring in spain a few days earlier and when he popped the question he had bought the ring!! :D xx
