i've just finished decorating my birdcage and made my table plan. I've put all my DIY bits in the same album so its all together :o) Kisywisy, your bouquet is identical to how mine will be except mine is fresh flowers and obvously normal gerberas, very pretty! xxx
thanks :o) I was rather annoyed with Adam though, was very excitedly showing him the cage and table plan at which point he told me off because we 'hadn't finalised where people were sitting'! We had, he'd just forgotten the conversation! Not impressed. He's now grovelling ;o)
Just wondering if anyone has used the wedding stationary CD from Microsoft? Am thinking about purchasing it, but would like reviews on it first! Anyone bought one?
:)

Thanks kevs angel xx i have a different colour green for the birdcages its the same as on my bouquet just didn't want to cut it till i have them how i want them. I'm really happy with them now just waiting for my little bird salt and pepper pots to turn up. i cant deiced if i should get some crystals or flower petals for the tables though. I'm using led tea lights in the holders and they are a lot brighter then i thought and unless you look in the pots you can even tell as they flicker like a proper candle

does anyone know a cheap way to make napkin rings?
I am about to embark on a mammoth task......making my wedding dress, well actually a skirt to go with a bodice I have......wish me luck I think I am gonna need it. I am halfway through making 4 bridesmaid dresses but I will stop them for now to get my own dress finished......then I can relax , knowing its done......just waiting for the fabric to arrive and its all systems go!
Krissey they are fabulous! i love the colours you have chosen....
I can resist anything but temptation
CommentAuthorMrsSaraParry!
sian i made some really cheap napkin rings. I bought some really think wire and some tiny glass beads, threaded the beads on, tied the wire and covered the knot with some ribbon to match the colour scheme :o) very pretty, very cheap but I have to admit, very fiddly too!
CommentAuthorJanie
am loving these threads, you ladies are all so creative! I just LOVE the wish tree, i so badly wanted one, but i cant be bothered thinking of it at the moment, I have toomuch else to plan lol.
Remember : To the world you may be just one person,
BUT to one person you may just be THE WORLD x x x

Sian you can use wine glass charms as napkin rings too. You can buy just plain ones and then put beads onto them. I have bought the bits to make 100 charms of the bay of e and it has cost me just under £10 xxx
Got together 14.02.2008
Got engaged 31.12.2010
Will become a Mrs on 30.08.2014 xxxxxx

Evening ladies, I have found the finishing touches to my centrpiece today...i've aded my own bits of crystal garland to my cages...sets them off a treat and really captures the light from the candles :)

Going to make some lace napkin rings woo hoo so excited to start these x
Can anyone who has done their own artificial flower bouquets let me know where I can get the flowers reasonably priced please. I quite like the texture of the foam ones. I was meant to be making my own bouquet with real flowers but am now feeling that if I choose artificial flowers instead it will leave more room for error and I wont have to do it the day before the wedding. xx
CommentAuthorkrissy905
will post a link of the palces i got mine from if you want i founda good lady on ebay that does all different colours of foam flowers with quick free delivery and she does bulk items to so makes it a little cheaper x
CommentAuthorMrsDanks
Cheers krissy that would be great. Did you put yours into oasis or just bind the stems?? I don't know much about it but I am usually quite creative so know its possible. xx
CommentAuthorkrissy905
i actually used a wire collar and then binded the stems with green florist tape i did it with out first but want it a bit bigger and couldn't get it the way i wanted with out the collar i also added brooches to mine to the pictures are int he thread somewhere. i put crystal or pearl pins in each rose and covered the florist tape with green and pink ribbon to match my colours x

Okay sounds good, im not sure what a wire collar is but im sure google will tell me lol! How many flowers do you think I will need for my bouquet and two miniture versions approx? I saw your creations in the thread earlier and it is what I will be aiming for but with a bit of cadbury purple running through them somehow. xx
