Wedding Forum - Show Off Your bouquets,buttonhole,decor...

So, I have already made a thread for us brides to be to show off our wedding dresses so now it's time for our bouquets etc.

This forum is for idea's advice opinions and I think it would be great for us to actually see what people are having and possibly get idea's this way.

The picture's I have uploaded aren't pictures of my actual bouquet but these are the pictures I am going to give to my florist so she can get an idea of what I want.

I'll be having the yellow roses but dark purple, midnight blue and cream in all sort's of different flowers with lots of diamanté's and pearls and I want a trailing posie!

That's a bargain. They look such good quality!
I'm looking at around £500 for my bouquet, 4 bridesmaid corsage's, grooms buttonhole, 6 buttonholes and 4 ladies lapel corsage's, flower girl wand and a top table display. They are all silk so seem's far too much money but I love the stuff my florist make's, the quality is brilliant and she's often featured in Real Wedding's mag so think she's bumped up her prices because of that!

Bouquet 1 is beautiful, I think that's the best one! The colour's look stunning and would be even better with a bit of lilac xx

My favs are 1, 3 and 5 out of those.

I like one too although the purple isn't quite the right colour but think your right about having some lilac in it too x

I'm sure your florist could use a different colour purple! I love it, it's so pretty x

It's funny melody cos number 1 was the one i first spotted last year that I liked and have not changed my mind, maybe it's a sign lol

this is not exactly what I am having, but is the pictures I have shown the florist, and the pictures they are working from so they will be pretty similar!

I don't have a pic of the flowers I'm having (and I can't find one similar either) so I will upload pics of the individual flowers.

my & MOH bouquet will be 75% roses and 25% purple rim lisianthus, and the bridesmaids bouquet will be 90% roses 10%

They re beautiful twirler, i saw that second picture in purples the other day and liked it too. We're the stems of your roses and lilies wired cos someone said to me they bend over in the bouquet if their not wired up the stem?

Lol wow that was good twirler, we're not having our honeymoon straight away we're waiting a few weeks as we've got family down visiting for a holiday and not seen them all in ages, but it gives us something to look forward to when the wedding has been and gone. That's good then cos i really like the tulips and rose bouquet and almost decided on that now and thought oh no what if they don't hold for the day lol x

im having a crystal posie ,and my bridesmaids are having the same just slighlty smaller with cadbury purple crystals and pearls, and the buttonholes are ivory lillies with crystals pics in my albums, xx

Thank you mrs mac and mrswade! I put a lot of work in (especially the crystals, they are not easy to work with). I kept it small too, I think that is one of the great things about artificial flowers, they give you a lot of time to play around with them and get it perfect for you without worrying that they will fall apart!

After much flip-flopping we're going with:
My bouquet in this pattern - but with ivory & burnt orange calla lilies, and without the foliage underneath
But with looped grass like this
All tied with silver ribbon :)
H2b's buttonhole will be a double: one ivory & one orange calla with looped grasses and tied with silver ribbon.
Family buttonholes will be a single ivory calla with looped grasses, tied with sapphire ribbon :)

As we're going abroad we've no idea who will come so doubt we'll get BM bouquets. For the UK reception we're gonna have bunches of orange & blue gerberas as centrepieces as they're such happy looking flowers & the only other kind I really like lol! Not picky at all... :p Xx

Lol I just typed in "wedding bouquet" to google images - more than a few ideas on there haha :)

These were the flowers from my day :) in case anyone can use them as inspiration :D My aunt made them all for me :D
