Hi I’m getting married in little over 5 weeks and I need some advice. I’ve booked my photographer almost 2 years ago when I first booked my wedding. They are some one who did a friends wedding. I contacted them over 3 weeks ago asking what the next steps are, after not hearing from them in 48 hours I phoned to be told that my email was received but was flagged for follow up next week, one month before the wedding. The same day as the call I emailed asking by when they need the list of my group pictures and still no reply. So I emailed again yesterday as am getting concerned. Yet again no reply.
My question is, is it normal that photographers don’t really take notice until the month of the weeding? It’s just auch a big part of my day, I just want some reassurance. Thanks in advance

It may be that as they say they'll respond to and look at details 1 month before the wedding and may just be busy with other weddings given we're getting into peak wedding season now.
From my recollection we didn't really get into details etc with our photographer until 4 - 6 weeks before our big day.
