A few months ago I saw a pair of shoes online that I fell in love with, but they were being discontinued. I ordered so many times online only to get an email a few days later to say that they were no longer in stock. I rang around stockists, none of which had my size in that shoe. I gave up looking as like I said I couldn't find them online or instore.
I returned to work from maternity leave last week, there is a bridal store on the road behind my work so I thought I'd try there just to have a look (they weren't down as stockists on the brands website). They had the shoes!!! But they only had the display ones left in my size, they looked in perfect condition apart from the soles which were slightly marked so I got £20 knocked off the price.
I was in such a daze of finally finding them that I never checked them properly and when I got home they had a slight mark on them, it's not really too noticeable but where I have now seen it I feel it stands out like a sore thumb. It's on a strappy bit of the shoe by the toes and had diamanté bits around it so I can't really scrub it. I don't want to take them back.
Any advice on how to clean the stain? They are satin.

have u tried taking them to a good dry cleaners hun to see if they can steam it out without ruining the rest of the shoe? x

I only got them on Friday so haven't had a chance to do anything yet. But I have read online that pouring vodka on the stain and just letting it dry is meant to work.

What has stained it, is it chemical or just dirt?
CommentAuthorJasminH9
If its a natural dirt they a tiny bit of fairy liquid, if its chemical a little spray of wd40 might help
You might not be able to take them back as they may of sold them as sold as seen due to other marks (if they wrote anything on receipt) I am another vote for vodka to help clean them too :)

Stain looks orange, think it was where they were under the spot light so don't think it'll come off. But it's only noticeable if you look closely so I'm going to leave it as don't want to risk the stones coming off.

Can you dab a little bleach on the stain?
CommentAuthorInDreamland
I wouldn't worry about it, if you're wearing them under a long wedding dress no one will see them.

yes.. it will not be seen by anyone.. because your dress would cover the shoes...
CommentAuthorkjl87
Yes it's a long dress. Even when I just have them on and look down I can't see it.
Am totally in love with the shoes :)
