To My Sister, My Maid of Honor

I wish that I could tell you exactly what it means,
to have a special sister who has shared in all my dreams.

Now, on the day I marry you will be the one to stand,
as my Maid of Honor near me close at hand.

Of memories we've shared this day just would not be,
the one that I had dreamed of without you next to me.

And though our lives keep changing I will still look forward to,
all the many things we'll share as only sisters do.

You are a wonderful sister

To My Mom From Your Daughter

I realize as I marry what it takes to be a wife,
it takes the things you taught to me all throughout my life.

It’s believing in another’s dream until it has come true,
cheering in the background, “I am so proud of you!”

It’s having your convictions and admitting when you're wrong,
it’s showing you have weaknesses but knowing that you’re strong.

And so the day they say to us, “We pronounce you man and wife,”
I’ll strive to be just like you, the one who gave me life.

My New Sister, My Bridesmaid

The day that I marry our families will blend,
you'll be my sister and also my friend.

It's so very special to know you will be,
a part of this day, a bridesmaid for me.

It's just the beginning of our brand new life,
as your brother and I become man and wife.

Ah I was bawling last night but I've been tryna good poems for ages and these a fab but the was no poem only thread so here we are!!!

No Gifts/Money: (Cheeky)

We have lived together a while now,
And we have all that we need,
So we haven't got a gift list,
For you to sit and read.

Money or Vouchers,
Would be appreciated in every way,
And the joy of your presence,
To share our special day.

No Gifts:

We do not wish for presents,
we hope you do not mind,
We haven't got a gift list,
there's nothing we could find.

Your presence at our wedding,
will give our day a lift,
Your company is priceless,
we accept it as our gift.

This is a poem I put together from my own ideas and taking parts from other poems for a Gift list combined with a Honeymoon donation:

To celebrate our wedding you may wish to buy us presents
However this is not required, all we want is your presence
If you insist,
We must admit, we have a J.0hn L3wis Wedding List
To help us improve our home at a later date
Or even replace a broken plate!
Included in our list is an option for a Honeymoon donation
To put towards our post Wedding vacation
But most importantly, we request
You share our day as our Wedding Guest.

For the parent of the bride:

Dear mum and dad,

Today is the day,
I've dreamed of all my life.
The day that I get married,
and become a loving wife.
You need to know how precious,
you two are to me.
You have made me what I am,
and will carry on to be.

This day will be a special one,
with emotions flowing free,
I just wanted you to know,
I'll need you there with me
Your strength and love will guide me,
as I become the bride,
As I start this unknown journey,
I need you by my side.

As I stand with Dad,
and start walking down the aisle
Please look at me dear Mum,
I'll need to see your smile.
Your smile and Dad's arm,
will help to steady me,
As I take this step,
for everyone to see.

I'll always be your daughter,
and your love I'll always need,
I’m now starting a new chapter,
planting a new seed.
He is my love, my life,
my everything to me,
And he will be beside me,
as we tackle what will be.

So on my wedding day,
I say these words to you,
Hoping that you realize,
you're in everything I do,
I will pledge to him,
my very heart and soul,
You have helped to mold me,
and he will make me whole.

Through the years you've been there,
for all my ups and downs,
from friendships, boys and homework,
to finding wedding gowns.

I want so much to thank you,
for all you've given me,
Your care and love and wisdom,
and the lasting memories.

For even though I'm now grown up,
In my dress and wearing pearls,
remember on this my wedding day,
I'm still your little girl!

For bridesmaids/MOH:

This poem is a gift to say
How dear you are to me,
And offer you my heartfelt thanks
For being there for me.

When I walked down the aisle
A very happy bride,
Please know how much it meant to me
To have you by my side.

So, do not think that things will change
Now that I am a wife.
You'll always hold a special place
Of honour in my life.

Dont cry for me,

My little girl dont cry for me
I'll be right by your side.
I'd never miss out on this day
That you become a bride.

I'm here with you to hold your hand
And give your heart away.
To a man God chose to take care of you
Forever from this day.

Today, I place your hand in his
With blessings and with pride.
My little girl, don't cry for me
I'll be right by your side.

Toiletry poem:

So happy you're here to share in our special day
But should something happen to go astray
Please help yourself to the contents within
Wet wipe, hand lotion and even aspirin
Use only what you need and leave the rest
It may be useful to another guest
So repair the damage that may have been done
Then hurry on back and join the fun!

For mum, my best friend

You'll always be important mum
Don't ever doubt your worth
To me our irreplaceable
The dearest mum on earth

Just knowing I can talk to you
If life should cause distress
Brings comfort to me day by day
Far more than you can guess

Your special love's beyond compare
It has been from the start
When first you picked me up
And held me to your heart

When times were bad you always lent
A sympathetic ear
Always there to help and care
And wipe away a tear

A mothers love is constant
From beginning to the end
And nowhere in the whole wide works
Will I find a better friend
