Hey ladies Beccy I hope your cyst is nothing serious & you get it sorted ok. I too thought the counter has skipped a few 100 days haha I am so frecking excited!! I tried on dresses tonight & think I've fell in love. Have an app at another bridal shop on Easter tues but I really loved one tonight, didn't want to take it off & also discussed a bit of customising I'd want on it. It's a Mor! Leeeeee & it's my princess dress :) can't wait to see what this other shop will bring.

aw ive bypassed all this dress shopping, id be tempted to go do it even though i have my dress just so i can get the dress buying and trying experioence but i dont want to fall in love with another dress lol

Hey Girls,
Hope you all had a fab Weekend I did.... My Mum came up and one of my bridesmaids, we went out for meals, drank champagne and went to wedding fayres... OMG we found my dress and to my surprise my Mum paid to deposit for me :-) so happy.
On the other note thanks for all the support, I seemed to have confused the doctors, they don't know what the thing in my pelvic area is, all they know it has several cysts attached and at it's biggest point its 17cm OMG... I need to have further tests but the wedding planning is going on as normal :-) xxx

Yeh keep going beccy, don't worry or think about it too much unless they tell u otherwise! But keep on at them too so they don't forget about u as can sometimes happen when they have backlogs of patients!
I had a good weekend...me and my sis made friends, after we fell out mid sept, tho being careful at the min, not giving her the fully trusted version of me til she's earned it x

oooh everyone's really organised!! Feel like am getting there slowly, also looking forward to getting all deposits paid and just focusing on saving up to pay everything off!
Got reception venue booked and deposit paid Dress bought Bouquet, veil, shoes and jewellery bought Bridesmaid bags and hair accessories bought Lapel flowers bought Photographer, videographer, DJ booked and deposit paid Toastmaster booked and deposit paid Guest book bought, waiting for it to arrive Place name cards bought Hair and makeup artist booked and deposit paid Wedding underwear and nightwear bought Wedding cake topper bought
So what's left to do is: Book ceremony and pay deposit (can't do until 13th september this year) pay balance for reception and discuss final details with them book and pay suits (h2b, ushers, father of groom, my uncle who's giving me away and best man) buy bridesmaids' dresses Make save the date cards Make invitations Make table plan and table name cards Write on place name cards Give notice of marriage Collect post box (made by h2b's sister's friend) Order cake (h2b's dad's wife offered to buy for us) Book transport and pay deposit Buy our rings Buy thank you gifts Order favours Buy table decorations Book chair covers and pay deposit Sort hen and stag do's and go for those Book accommodation for night before and night of wedding Pay remaining amounts Sort honeymoon!

Aww thanks Velcro!! :) xxx It's not necessary to have a toastmaster, you can do it without one, just they can take a lot of the pressure off, they make the announcements as well as ensuring everything runs smoothly and as to plan, without you stressing if timings are out or if something isn't quite right. Ours makes sure the venues are decorated how we want it, that things aren't running too behind and gives us regular breaks where we can just relax. xxx they can sometimes work out quite expensive, so it's up to you if you feel you particularly want one, sometimes some venues has an in-house one that they might do at a special rate for you xxx

Mrsmoran you can prebook your ceremony, I did mine couple of months ago cost £15, just gotta give notice after 13th sept this year now, we got the last civil slot of the day for 13th sept 2014 for our area x

Well since I'm staying at a hotel the night before the wedding now to save money to ordering one car instead of two, (venue is 5mins from sad hotel) my hairdresser is charging £10 for petrol as the hotel is 30mins away from my house... However my makeup woman wants to charge £60 extra is this fair? I think I'm being extorted....

It is xxx I suppose everywhere has different rules though and the consolation is someone can't come and book it in the mean time if they only take bookings from a year to go, so will be there as soon as they open on that day with a year to go and we'll get our slot, am not gonna let it go xxx

They can charge a fair bit extra for change of details hun. I've been married before and i changed venues adding 10 mins total onto journey time, went to change details with transport company and they wanted an extra £100 per car for this, they can charge ridiculous prices for so called 'inconvenience' xxx

Hmm I haven't signed a contract with her yet.,just paid a £10 deposit,and hadn't said where I was getting ready... Just think that's a bit silly priced, trying to save money by only getting one car then she wants to add £60 which then bumps the price back up again... Think I'll just use the £10 deposit for the trial run, let her write down what products she used then buy them myself.... Xx

5th September 2014 wedding :) venue booked 6 months ago. luckily we have a co-ordinator to prompt us when things need booking etc. Tried several dresses on today and fell in love with the 1st one.. Luna by thomas Flowers :D

Hi Girls,
I'm having 2 bridesmaids colours Cornflower and Topaz, I did the silly thing of asking the girls which colour they would prefer, and most have chosen Topaz n now there arguing who is wearing the Topaz and who is wearing the Cornflower... Do I just step in and tell them who's wearing what or do I change and just have the 1 colour?
Advise please I didn't think organising my bridesmaids would be so stressful xx

I've done mine, I sent them out about two weeks ago, I don't think u need them if ur gonna send ur invites out a bit earlier, it's just so if ppl need to book time off or don't book hols etc x

Visited my 2nd bridal shop today & have a choice of 3 in this shop that I love. The girl wouldn't give me the details of the dresses but I managed to find 1 of them on the net but can't find the other 2. A bit annoyed she wouldn't give me the details but I do understand she's scared I'll go get a china dress. Has anyone else picked their dress?
