Hi! I've just joined! booked my wedding yesterday for 5th September 2014 at Holland Hall Hotel in Lancashire! Lovely neutral colour scheme so i don't have to avoid a clash with a burgundy or blue paisley carpet!!! AND!I went to their wedding fayre yesterday and found these AMAZING wishing trees! recommended to any bride in the north west area - They're going to be so fantastic in my pictures! thinking i may dance under them at night and get the photographer to snap away! my guests are gonna love them too and the labels will be nice to keep. check them out - LINK REMOVED AS THIS IS IN BREACH OF FORUM RULES - PLEASE ENSURE YOU READ THE RULES!!! Ok, if u look down the left hand side on your account page where your photo is, under it there should be an edit bit,click on that then go down to the bottom of your info above the save button... It should say view permissions or something similar? You need to click it to public xx

It was only one in the shop I haven't ordered it yet, it was a size bigger but she tried to do the tie up back really tight as she could, I tried another on that fitted like a glove n she said that's how the dress I like will fit when it comes so don't think I'll need much doing... It's just if I decide to have one strap put on or not cos its a strapless dress... But we'll see I actually like it as it is so don't think I'll bother x

Wow most of you got some thing booked!! I hoping to get married next sept but not yet viewing the venue. Hope to book the venue by end of this month then wait till end of summer to book other thing as need to save up to pay deposit for other thing :/ hope I managed to book end of summer then look at dress after Christmas.

I am a September 2014 bride, hopefully the date will be 13th September, just waiting on the wedding planner confirming this... Getting married on the beautiful Greek Island Crete and cant wait... I have 5 bridesmaids, 1 flower girl, 1 ring bearer & 2 ushers... And there all scattered up and down the country so it's proving a nightmare to get them all measured up and fitted... Hi everyone We got engaged at christmas & on tues we paid the deposit for our wedding on the 27th sept 14. Anyone sharing my date?? Lots of you on the 13th :) so far i have booked: my venue, their package includes photographer videographer cake mens suits chair covers and entertainment.
it actually included flowers, cars & table centres too but I want different cars, found flowers cheaper & the table centres were just balloons which are lovely but just not me. I also have booked the chapel too :) Starting the dress shopping next thurs, going for a look at dresses with my mam & sister (matron of honor)

OMG everyone is so organised, I haven't really done anything... I am just about to pay the deposit to the wedding planner who is sorting all the legal side and translations out with us getting married in Crete, I have chosen the bridesmaid dresses but as I moved to Scotland to be with my h2b all my bridesmaids are in Yorkshire, Cambridgeshire and Poland, so it's proving a little hard getting all the information or getting my girls to the shop to get there measurements to get them ordered... The h2b, best man and ushers are from Scotland so traditionally wearing kilts, again we have picked these just need to get the boys down to get measured so we can pay the deposits for the hire of these. We know the venue but as this is going to be in the grounds off the apartments in Crete we don't really need to pay any deposits for that we just need to book the accommodation for us and guests. But the cost aren't out for next year yet, we will know more when we go out on holiday there this year in June... Just about order my save the dates and wedding insurance... Any ideas on wedding insurance?
Keep Smiling Girls, no matter how hard, stressing the wedding planning becomes, remember it will be all worth it in the end. :-)

Hello, all! I'll join the roll call of Sept 2014 brides, getting married 6.9.14 in York :D Spending this weekend getting quotes for our catering, photographer and videographer and working out how to get a registrar. We've got the deposit paid on our venue, insurance, cake maker (groom's sister!) and my dress sorted but that's all.

I've been told wedding insurance will only cover u for anything you haven't already booked when u get it, they ask for proof of dates from ur invoices, so won't cover the cost of anything you've already booked x
