You could always have the bestman/ushers looking out incase?
CommentAuthorminnie11061990
you have to do what ever you feel most confortable with, what does you h2b think? Make sure you check with him first. Xxx
If you're comfortable with ensuring your bridal party will make sure shes kept out then use that... if not, ask your venue if they can help and if needs be, hire a qualified doorman! Give pictures, description of individula but he can help keep everythign in check... however, try and make sure he blends in, you don't want your guests being concerned and edgy that you felt the need for security! Conceal as much detail as poss from her about your day-timings etc.
And we lived happily ever after!

I don't think security is needed

I don't think security is needed. But it is compulsory at our venue x

We have to have security at my venue from 6:30!
If you feel the need to pay out for Security then go for it but it can be expensive. We are paying £55 per hour and they have to be there till 12:30
But if you are going to have security I would give them a guest list and go from there.
Cant wait until I become Mrs K

In this case I agree with the others that security is not needed. Can you have the groomsmen look out for her and have her escorted out of the building if she shows up?

Could you not get guests to bring their invite with them? No invite, no entrance!

I think the best man/groomsmen can do a great job here especially as that's part of the groomsmen job of sitting and arranging ppl...

At most wedding venues, I think security might look out of place - it might also make the proprietors and staff nervous, as though you're expecting trouble...
Also, and this is just my opinion bearing in mind I don't know your situation, I think it might look a bit ott hiring a doorman to keep one person out...
Ultimately though it's your big day and if it's a road you feel you need to go down for your own peace of mind, go for it! Xx
