Hi All, Hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas and new year and that all wedding plans are running smoothly!!
I am sending out Save the date cards shortly. Our room for the evening can hold up to 150 and we have a list of guests at 170, do you think it is okay to send save the date to all 170 as we are bound to get people say they cant make it.
Advice would be really appreciated!! Thank you, Cordelia

We debated this but I was so worried we would end up with too many so we sent out the exact number of people that the venue would hold but put a little slip in with the std saying in order to help us with our planning please let us know if you are unable to join us. We then had a second list, we had 12 people come back to us saying they were not available etc so then we sent further std's out to the people on the that list. I think we still have about 10 people on that list at the moment that will get evening invites if we can't find the space. Hope this helps. x

Personally I would only send out the StDs to 150 people and only send ivies out to your reserves nearer the date when you know there are spaces. Hopefully some who can't attend will let you know sooner rather than later, then you can send out more StDs a few weeks later x

Yeah this sounds like a good idea girls!
I was just so unsure about what to do because you will never get 100% of people able to attend and there are already so many people we are leaving off to be able to accommodate!

I know it's really hard. I think we are going to just leave it as it is now and see what happens when we sent out our invites and get RSVP's xx
