im making my own, i recently moved house so have plenty of heavy duty card, just need sticky back plastic, split pins a set of hinges and a padlock set. o and some ribbon! its made i just need to make it pretty lol.

I'm making my own too, saw the RM postbox at the National Wedding Show and thought it was a bit expensive, if you really want one, have you thought about hiring one?

We looked at these and h2b fell in love (as did I) but they really are pricey. We are in considering getting one made by a carpenter friend of ours for us to keep our cards and keepsakes in from the wedding (or put outside for the post lol)

Just searched for the RM postboxes and I love them, at 115.00 it's a bit much though and google hasn't brought up any cheaper. What a FAB keepsake though. Set a search to see if any come up cheaper!

Love them, however the cheapest way to get one was to hire one but i wasnt prepared to drive half the country to pick it up then again to drop it off :( xx

for guests bringing cards or in particular money in cards, it's somewhere safe to put them - not a nesessity but decorativily speaking they can look good. Plus handy to keep memory items in.....

we havent thought about it... seems a nice idea but if too costly then weddings are expensive enough and prob could use the money elsewhere

this is mine. its nearly finished just bit of tidying up. i made it using cardboard papier mache, collected sand of our local beach whilst out with h2b and collected pebbles then the water just had to be made out of BUTTONS i loooooooooovvveeee buttons.
One BIG day will lead to lots of little happy days !!
