h2b has a just turned 13yr old son, hes a lovely boy and we all get on really well, h2b doesnt have a great bond with him as he is only allowed to see him every 2nd sunday and his mum is nasty and influences him alot.
He is excited for the wedding and we want him to have a certain responsibility/role so he feels more included. He isnt going to be an usher and i cant think of anything else other than ring bearer but h2b doesnt trust him with the rings
Any ideas? Thanks!! x

My son is the same age so I am aware some 13year olds are boys and some are very nearlt men and it will depend on which camp he is in as to what role he gets. My son will be giving me away (which I know is not an option for you) but he also really, really wants to do a speech. So he could possibly do a reading? He could also help out with favour/cake distribution? Or being in charge of gathering cards/gifts and watching over the gift table?

What is he particularly good at? Could you work something in specially that uses his talents? For example would he read well, can he sing or play a musical instrument? Is he arty or good with making things?
30th August 2014 was the best birthday ever.
It was the day that I became Mrs. Dixon.

Our nephew will be handing out orders of service and welcoming people as they come I to the church, maybe a job like that?

With the ringbearer idea you could do it but get a bridesmaid to hand him the rings literally just before the processional enters - that way he'll only have them for about a minute or two before passing them to the best man?
