How does it work? If I have my son carry the rings what happens then? Does he hand them over to the best man who then takes them off the pillow thing and hands to the registrar when it's time? Just wondering whether it'll be a faff to add it in or if it'll be nice to do!

I think that's how it's done. We had step son as ring bearer as he was also best man,

Yeah I thought it'd be nice I just wasn't sure what happens to the rings, I don't know when the registrar asks for them and when she does if they need to be off the pillow thing etc!

The best man usually hands the rings one at a time as required to the bride and groom. Have photographed many weddings from the front lol!
Definitely have your son carry a ring pillow to the best man that would be so sweet! Xx
