So I've been toying with the idea of centrepieces for last few days until I saw this on pin last night! I can see it being rather simple and as long as they stay covered they wouldn't get dusty so could technically start prepping now..

Anyone else seen this, think they are a good idea and think they could be tied in with our Vegas theme?

Looks great, taking it that is a wine glass yes? Won't be too tall on the table either.

Yeah this one is on a wine glass but also seen ones in a plant pot too!
A lot of centrepieces I've seen seem really tacky when homemade but this just hit me, with the wine glass too we could always put something on show inside too..

Would Martini glasses work? Think it would maybe tie in with the theme a little more

They could work, depending on what you wanted to put in them to show off. Would have to be smaller wouldn't they?

Maybe poker chips or a few dice. Might have to try to make one and place it on each glass, it would depend on the curve on the bottom of the glasses if they would be secure or not really wouldn't it?

they look funky :) I would be careful to use fairly solid glasses though, otherwise could easily topple over.

On the tutorial it says using clear tape to stick the ball onto bottom of the glass... Can't see it work myself but they do make it look extremely easy. Bidded on a few ribbons last night to start to collection :)

So wifey could picture the ribbon trees looking right GRRRR! So going back through the pin like we do and I spotted these! Exactly same thing different colours and she likes them (talk about crazy lady).

Will be popping to our local rag market in the few weeks hopefully to grab a few supplies since they can be stored so easily :D
