Hi guys, just a quick one, for my first dance the plan was to change my shoes to make dancing easier however my shoes are approx 1.5 inches small than heels do you think this is enough to make life difficult?

I took my heels off before the photo's, as alot of them were on a lawn. It made no difference

I don't do heels. I'll be wearing flats anyway.

I'll be going from court heel height to flats and it wont be a bother.

I would have thought this might affect the dress too? I guess as long as you mention it as your fitting and take both pairs of shoes they can adapt the length to suit both heel heights?

I brought this up at my recent fitting and took my flats with me. Yes of course depending on the heel height difference it may cause the dress to drag a lot more on the floor. For me personally as my heel heigh isn't really all that high (bad ankles due to under average shoe size for my height) my dress will meet the floor but the hoop will still give me plenty of maneuverability. I just need to mind and hike it up a little when outside.

I went from 2 and half inch heels to flats for the evening.
It was fine. My dress actually splayed out a bit more on the floor but it didn't make it difficult to move or dance. It looked fine.

Didn't make any noticeable change to the visibility of my dress length, but my heels were not amazingly high anyway

As mine is a fit and flare the length is quite important so I don't fall over the front, I've got heels for the ceremony and wedged flip flops for the evening.
