As people usually have their phones and thats now their means of taking majority of oics these days.. what are you doing about photos mainky reception pics?? I have no problem ppl snapping away on their phones Etc...
I was planning on putting a camera on each table we arent having a massive wedding its a nice fun budget wedding i know some ppl think the cameras on tables are tacky but nm :-)...
Do u think it would be good to put a note with the cameras to say any extra photos taken via personal phones or cameras could they all be forwarded onto us through email or a facebook group or something?(worded better of course)
What is everyone doing? Ive also seen an app for this but i thort facebook maybe easier?(if any1 knows what that app is called send it my way cos i can no longer find it!)

You could put the cameras on the tables with a kind note just to say, if you take photos on your phones/cameras please refrain from posting them on social media, and to send them directly to yourself to be included.

Ah thx elizabeth...
We rnt fussed about people posting etc its more the fact wen they do post they usualy pick out the good ones or posed photos and we want to see every1 havin fun etc u know :-) we want a memory of all our family and friends having a gd time. I think i may make a group and say if possible any photos taken at the wedding be it of us ir not to upload as we dnt wanna miss any thing we didnt get to see :-)
I'm happy for people to take pictures using their own phones (most people have camera phones these days anyway) and then upload them to social media using a dedicated wedding hashtag.. for example #mrandmrspringle2016 .. that way we can pop on, type in the hashtag and easily obtain all the photos from there. There is also a "Wed Pics" app that people can download on their phones and pop the pictures they take on there, which again, would be easily accessible by us.
Am thinking about getting signs made up to put on each table to explain :-) x

They dnt have to upload for the world to see if they dnt want bt id definatly like to see them :-) x

Yeah that's a good idea about the FB group so only those in the group can see them! x

I had this worry myself, I would like it if our day guests would refrain from posting pics of myself and our ceremony on social media sights before the day is even over. I don't mind if they are of themselves or their partners ect. im hoping they will respect this but there isnt much I can do if they don't I suppose. The fb group idea is great though

I'm not too worried about people posting pictures to be honest. I would prefer if people didn't post pictures before the day is even over, however-it's really not the end of the world if they do :/ I sort of think you can't really control whether people do that or not and if they want to then they will.
I was at a wedding last year where the couple asked that noone post the pictures until the professional one's have come through. They still haven't posted any professional one's and if I'm going to be honest, I probably won't bother posting mine once they do come through now as the moment has sort of passed for me

Im not fussed about people posting on social media but I would like a copy of all the pictures I am going to go with the wedding app thing so that people can upload to it but i will also be checking FB and tw1tter to see if photos are uploaded there.
Its going to be so hard for me not to have my camera on me I love taking photos, Im going to et ds have it for the day and he can have a list of shots to take (I spy sort of game so I get the shots from his point of view) and at least that way I will have some pictures from our day.

There were only a couple of people who came to our wedding that are on FB, and I just said I didn't want any pics of our wedding on there.
