I am really struggling and I need some help & advise as I didn't realise quite how expensive a wedding photographer would be!
I really really do want to have professional photographs of our wedding day, which we can then treasure for years. But after telling my OH the cheapest photographer I could find in our area (that I actually liked) was over £1200, and with the majority of the photographers I've researched being more than £1500 he is now saying that he'll just get one of his mates or a family member to do it! This is a BIG no no, for me!
Therefore the main question I wanted to ask was does anyone know of any decent (but reasonably priced) photographers they can possibly recommend in the Essex / Hertfordshire region or has anyone used Gr0up0n for wedding photography packages before?

My photographers cheapest package is £650 and he works out travel costs based on g00gle m@ps. He's based in the midlands but I can let you know his details if you like.

I live in Essex and got married in Hertfordshire. Our photographer was incredible. I'll leave you his details on your wall as he'll do a package that is affordable. Also a friend of press is a wedding photographer and took lovely pics of our wedding so was like an unofficial photographer on the day so will leave you his details too xxx

IDL I'll definitely have a look into those options you recommended, thank you. Just seen your msg on my wall, if you're in Epping you are fairly local to me :-) My family live in Waltham Abbey which is where I grew up too, however I live in Bishops Stortford now xx

Hope one of them can help you Stacey. Definitely set up a meeting with both photographers, they are both lovely. We didn't go with our friend because we'd already booked and paid the deposit for ours by the time he offered and ours was a preferred supplier of our reception venue and had also done weddings at the church we got married in.
