I think this is under the right topic... Remove it if it isnt.

My pageboy is my son. Hes 4 and increfibly shy. Initially i nought him a "daddy here comes mummy" sign which he was going to walk down the aisle with but after many MANY run throughs we just cannot get hom to walk on his own with people watching so ive decided to have him walk me down the aisle as i can pass him on to his grandma when i reach my OH.
Do i sack the sign off as it seems silly to give him a sign that says "daddy here comes mummy" if im right by his side.... What do u think?? Get rid of the sign or not??

If it's not too heavy, can you put a string around it so that he can put it over his neck? That way you can hold his hand and still have the sign. I think that would be adorable!!

Even though it says daddy here comes mummy? I feel the wording will look odd if im right there... Like it should say Daddy Mummys right here. Lol

I wouldn't think too much about it other than its cute! If you look on g00gl3 images, there are a few pics of kids holding hands with someone whilst carrying the sign so maybe you could ask someone to walk down with him?

Do you have any bridsmaid's? If so you could get him too hold one of there hands and the sign... Then he won't be on his own. Other wish you could have him walk just in front of you with the sign? X

Who were you originally having to walk you down the ailse? Could your mum not walk down with him? I was a bridesmaid and my little boy was page boy. We walked together but he wouldn't hold the sign, I did in the end lol! Xx

I would still use the sign. You've paid for it anyway so might as well. I think it will just look cute x

Nobody was going to walk me down the aisle originally... My father passed away when i was 16 and i havent ever been close to my mum so it felt right for me to be on my own.
I was going to ask my bridesmaid to walk him down the aisle but honestly my wee man is super shy he wont even hold my mums hand.

Oh bless you! I'm sure they get that quite a bit, but that's nice if them to do that. I can imagine some places get a bit funny about it! It's getting very close now! So exciting!
