Hi everyone, I am getting married this September and my bridesmaids will be in purple (cadburys). I am really struggling to find pictures of fresh bouquets for myself and the bridesmaids in colours that would match as there is only lisianthus and freesia in the purple. Can anyone help by posting pictures of their fresh bouquets which have purple in them to give me some ideas. Any help is much appreciated!

If I were you, the best person to ask is your florist! They are the best, most knowledgeable and will know exactly what to pluck out to create your bouquet. Use their talent and knowledge, it's what they are trained for :) We did with our bouquets and bounced off each other and created something I wouldn't have even thought about! x

I would go for a more neutral colour for the bridesmaids & keep the purple flowers for yourself, purple dress plus purple flowers might be a bit to much IMO, but it's totally up to you.
Sorry I can't help on actual flowers though, definitely talk to some florists as suggested by others.

I think if they are wearing purple, go for a different colour. Mine wore cadburys purple and had cream flowers.

If your bridesmaids are wearing purple then they would be best in something ivory or a lighter shade like the rose Cool Water or Ocean Song but ivory would be better.

For yourself if you are wearing white or ivory then a purple bouquet would be best for you. I quite like the teardrop arrangement in the second picture Rebecca posted.

These were mine from May, our bridesmaids were in Cadbury purple too. I opted for a splash of purple with lots of cream and green.

Our centre pieces had lilacs and yellows as well, and blue orchids. so it wasn't an over kill of purple

    Your colours are beautiful Leasa......

I agree that cream may look better for the bridesmaids with them having purple dresses xx

This kinda gives you an idea of ours, I did not want big bouquets, just the wand type ones.

I like yours leasa they're really pretty, I was going to go for white/ cream for my bridesmaids maybe with a little gem in the centre piece to add some contrast. I'm going to have to meet with a florist fairly early I think because there's so many ideas I like!

    Thank you!

Our florist was fantastic, she was very reasonably priced too!

Speak to them, mine made a mock bouquet to give me an idea of how they'd look before I booked her.

Thanks everyone, I've got some great ideas. My florist has mentioned putting amnesia roses in my bouquet also.

We had white roses and purple lisianthums (sp?) in ours. I had the purple interspersed throughout mine, whereas my sister (MOH, wearing a purple dress) had the white roses round the outside, with purple in the middle of the bouquet. The two bridesmaids opted for white and purple sprayed wrist corsages. There are a couple of pics on my profile if you want to have a look. Will also upload some more detailed ones once I've uploaded all the professional photographers pics onto my laptop x

Mine are the same colours as EmmaP2B's pic. Im having a waterfall bouquet with the dark purple, lilac and ivory then the BMs are having round bouquets in the same colours. Theres little bits of heather in it too. Artificial flowers though, but they look gorgeous! (I dont know if i can, or how to post pics up, sorry :()
