Well what should I do guys? My florist is a girl I went to school with, I know her, she has her own business and did my friends wedding (very well I might add). She told me to contact her once I had my colour scheme so I text her a couple of weeks ago and she said she'd be in touch within the next couple of months to arrange a meeting. Fine. However I've had a few questions (relating to centrepieces, things I can start buying, what she'll hire me etc) and I've text a few times since with no replies at all. Fact is I'm getting a bit peed off - she's ignoring me! I want to start getting organised with my ideas. I think it's pretty poor service and she probably wouldn't do it to someone she doesn't know! But what if I get another florist then she phones me right after!! Do you think I should give her a while to reply? I don't want to be chasing her up all the time nearer the big day!

To be honest i'm already at the place where if people don't get back to me I'm sacking them off - the church I originally wanted to get marrried in didn't return any calls or respond to emails or voice mails so we decided to carry on looking and found the perfect venue. I don't need the stress now or like you said closer to the time - what if you can't get hold of her then ?.......
    Good luck hun xx

She's moved house - I don't know where she lives. All I have is a mobile number, and she works from home, no shop. Arghhh!

She may be lala, you'd think if she's running a business she'd take her mobile tho. I'll maybe give her a couple of weeks x

i would go get another florist. And if she does reply to you just apologise and tell her that as she didnt get back to you, you went elsewhere as you wanted to price your ideas out to make sure you left enough in your budget.

    understandable really

yeah I think I'll give her a little while longer - but then I will do that linzi - it's just so annoying. YOu know how when you have ideas and you want to start making them happen like now cos you're excited lol!! Maybe I'm being a bridezilla a wee bit! But I want to do the things I can right now while I have money before I spend it lol x

Sack her off. If shes dragging her heel s contacting you now whats it gonna be like nearer the wedding??

She should t least have acknowledged you and told you if shes a bit busy rather than not responding at all.

some of these places seem to think that we will just accept any sort of bad behavior from them. if they don't meet our expectation we should look else where.
although i would give the florist girl some time but not to much time
does your friend who's wedding she did know where she has moved to

Ah that's a point Emsy she probably does I may ask her. On the other hand I don't wanna have to go chase her up at her house - she should answer the phone!! Unless she's lost her phone! Well if so she should have had a not of my number so her fault - harsh but true!

Is she saving you any money? If she is the same price as other florists then I would get another one. If she is saving you a considerable amount of money then I would try ringing her mobile rather than texting and get to the bottom of the problem.

yeah but she should have a auto message to go out if thats the case. otherwise you have people stressing when they shouldn't need to.

Then find someone else. You have plenty of time. If she doesn't like it then she should learn to answer her phone. You don't need that kind of stress.
