Found out today that a friend is no longer able to come on the hen weekend because she didn't realise that day is her sister in laws wedding. However, we are probably going to have to pay for her as in the Ts and cs it says if someone cancels within 28 days the full amount has to be paid! However we weren't meant to be paying when we depart from the overnight stay! The thing is it's £105 pounds. Need your help do I just pay it or ask the girl that's dropped out? I'm so stressed out ! Dnt kno what to do or how to approach the situation x

Is there anyone else who could take her place ? If not I would talk to her about it and explain due to the terms payment is still needed as really it is her fault for not double checking and agreeing to come x

I agree with kelbel, she is responsible to pay the outstanding for her as she's the one whose cancelled, you shouldn't lose out because of her double booking. Surely she knew about this sooner so could have cancelled earlier and prevented the need for full payment.

I also agree, she dropped out so she needs to pay for it. End of the day you should be aware when a wedding date is how can you double book yourself with that?! Just explain that its all in the T&C's and she'd still going to have to pay for it eventhough shes not going. Its going to leave the rest of your short if not and might cause friction. xx
