I've been looking at some necklace and earring sets to go with my dress for the day but tbh I haven't a clue what I'm looking for. I know I want a single pearl and not a fan of dangly earrings but wearing my hair down so not sure if I should have dangly earrings? I found a set of stud pearl earrings and single pearl necklace for £20 is this too cheap? I haven't a clue what price I should be looking for and what type of pearl or metal or anything, if anyone has any advice please x

It doesn't matter how much if you like it. It may not be gold etc but does it really matter if you have seen it, love it and can imagine wearing it on your day. Plus more to splash elsewhere x

Ask yourself why would it be 'too cheap'? Who cares? As long as you like it, the price shouldn't matter as long as you can afford it.

I paid £10 for mine, it was perfect and suited my tiara really well.

I think price is pretty irrelevant, just go with something you love and can see yourself wearing on the day! You could get something cheaper that is absolutely stunning and something more pricey that is not as nice... just go with whatever you like xx

My sister has bought me earing and necklace set from W@rr£n J@m£s from my great niece to wear on my wedding day. Its not the cost it is that you are happy wearing them. My great niece is 2 by the way and going to be my flower girl x

I agree. If you love them, then who cares how much they cost. Only you will know.
It might be worth checking the material though as I know I have to because I'm a bit sensitive to earrings that aren't real gold or sterling silver so you want to be sure they won't affect you if you're sensitive too. X

I only worry about cost coz of the metal used to make the jewlerry rather than coz it's not expensive if that makes sense? I think it's sterling silver with cubic zirconia, I just worry about it turning me green haha, I don't wear a lot of jewlerry but have worn some cupostume jewlerry out at night and it turned me green :( will sterling silver do this to me? X

    Silver shouldn't turn you green,
If it's copper plated with another metal it might.

I paid about £30 for my earring and necklace set of costume jewellery, but I loved it.
Funny how I had cheap stuff and my bridesmaids were wearing t1ff@ny that I bought them!!!

If you like it, buy it, I bought mine with no intention of wearing again, so wasn't fussed as long as it looked good on the day, but it's nice jewellery and I could get away with wearing again.

Sterling silver shouldn't go green especially after one day so you should be ok for the wedding. Just had a browse on the D3bs website at J0n R!chards jewellery and found these but there were others with a single pearl that you want. X

Sterling silver should most definitely be fine. As long as you like it then it doesn't matter on price.

I don't wear earrings and my dress had an illusion neckline with lots of sparkle so I didn't need a necklace either. My bracelet is from Links which I got as a 21st birthday present. Hubby bought me a J charm to go on it last Christmas, so he got me a K charm for a wedding present which he gave me during the speeches. So I didn't spend any money on jewellery in the end! hehe.

Sterling silver will be fine as long as you have no allergies. Mine was not even that, I've worn it a few times since as well and it has all been good. Still going strong

I can't imagine T1ff@ny5 would sell sterling silver jewellery if it turned green.

Kirsty they were the ones I liked and was thinking of the bottom picture or something similar as its simple and my dress has so much detail on it with pearls and that I thought a simple necklace would look lovely and didn't really want to spend a fortune so as long as it won't go green ( which you all say it shouldn't as its sterling) then think I'm going to order it :) if I ordered now would it tarnish before next July?
