Hi everyone! Just looking for some help/ideas...so I’m due to get married end of August this year. My partner is from Zimbabwe so a lot of his family are due to come over for the wedding. With coronavirus causing all sorts of issues, obviously we don’t know if the wedding will still go ahead or if they’ll be able to fly over! No we’ve got a couple of ideas... 1-we just have a small wedding with a select few people and then do it all again as planned next year when everyone can come 2-carry on as normal this year and then head to Africa next year and essentially have a second wedding over there, so almost a wedding for my side and a wedding for his 3-postpone completely until next year
We both love the idea of getting married in ‘2020’ so keen for this but just stuck as to what to do...and how you’d make a small wedding special/feel like a wedding rather than just 30 mins then ok job done (if that makes sense)?

Hiya,
Honestly, it depends on what you guys want to do.
If you really want to get married in 2020, know that social distancing will be in effect in the UK and Africa and may not be the wedding you would like.
If possible, I would recommend having the wedding in 2021.

It’s such a hard decision to make! I think I’m starting accept that if we get married this year, it won’t be the wedding we both want!

I saw a beautiful wedding in April. This couple really wanted to get married and Covid19 didn't stop them, and it was more touching because despite difficulties they made it. Look more on a bride side, even if you will not have it as planned if might turn actually really beautiful.
