What are you after specifically?
L@t1fs warehouse in Digbeth has a good selection of artificial flowers
Ribbons, there's a lady in the rag market who sells predominantly ribbon and embellishments. She's next door to the big haberdashery stall. I'm sure she's his sister actually. I usually get everything I need for that from there. the haberdashery stall is on the far side roughly in the middle if you are looking at the building from the bullr1ng.
Decorations, take a look on the r@nge and £land websites, can order off there and has bigger selection of what they have in store.

3b@y is good too. I have bought a few things off there. Buy a £1 sample too see quality, colour etc. then make the decision based on that.

I'm looking for a certain shade of ribbon and the Rag market didn't have any. There choices for purple were very limited.

Where about's in Birmingham are you? There's a lovely little haberdashery shop in Wylde Green who should be able to help you if they don't stock the ribbon.
Postbox you can buy plain card one from h0m3 B@rg@ins and then decorate yourself.
not sure what a guest box is....?
Centrepieces, like I said before, take a look online at the R@ng3 and H0m3 B@rg@1ns and see if there's anything on there x

I will message the lady who runs it to see if she can match a specific colour of ribbon. she doesn't stock much but may have contacts x

Thanks Emily that's great :)
Have you all got bridesmaid dresses yet? I'm struggling with mine. I don't want to pay more than around £80/£90. Problem is my bridesmaid are refusing for online ones. they want to buy them from a shop. My colour is Purple closes to match is Cadbury. I have been round the highstreet and a couple of bridal stores and nothing :( Personally I want bay of e but argueing with 3 people is a pain lol.

Butting in here but it's not the decision of your bridesmaids where you buy their dress from Baker2Be! They should be happy to wear what you want them to wear and the quality of some of the dresses that you can get online are as good as the ones you could buy on the high street or in a bridal store... if you read the reviews carefully before buying then there should be no probs. I ordered two of mine from the bay (from a chinese seller) and the quality was fab, even better than the UK ones I bought from L1ttl3 M1str3ss and half the price! How about ordering from the bay and if they really don't like them then you could always send them back?

Hi Baker2Be, I have got my bridesmaid dress from a bridal shop and it's costing £185 and to be honest, there were no dresses in the shop for less that £100 but luckily I only have one adult so it wasn't as much of as issue to pay it.
Have you thought about going shopping together and trying places like D3b3nh@ams, br!t!sh hom3 stor3s, jon l3wis etc as they have some beautiful dress that might be more reasonably priced.
Otherwise, you could ask them to contribute the remainder of the cost seeing as they're the ones that want the most expensive dresses?

Hi, I agree with Flossie, you are the one buying them so its up to you where they are from.
I haven't bought mine yet so cant help on that one sorry.

I'm only buying 2 of the dresses. my MOH is buying her own dress. I have offered but she is insisting since she makes so much more money than I do. So gave up arguing. If we don't find any in a shop cheap enough I will order 2 offline and if they look nice I will just tell her tuff and she has to have the same.
I am really not enjoying the wedding experience I will be glad when it is all over to be honest.

They have a website, but I went to their shop in Astley near Manchester. Think they have other stores

I bought my bm dresses from 3ver Pr3tty on @mazon and they are purple, although more plum than cadbury I think. They were about £25 each and the girls really like them. I bought one to check the quality in a size I knew would fit one of them and they all came round to see, loved them and I bought the rest.
So you could always buy a dress online and see what they all think. If they really hate it, you can return it but if not then sorted. X
