Just wondered, favour wise has anyone seen any little personalised pouches cheaply anywhere I can pop favours in with our names on. Like little net ones or velvet. Also the special gifts for maids best man etc what are people getting? I'm stuck for ideas!..

I am thinking of getting my BM's a locket with a photo of us in on one side, and then leaving the other side blank for the Wedding photos to come back, then I will get a little one with each BM and put it in the other side.. GM we have no idea yet..
With the pouches, are you or any family members any good at sewing? Could you maybe embroider names on? Or maybe find some pretty luggage tags that you could tie them up with ribbon around the top, and attach a personalised luggage tag? You could either write it, or there's alphabet stamps out there that you could buy and stamp each persons name onto it?
Failing that, Etsy is usually pretty good for the craft side of things! Xx

Oh ok good idea might try that actually! Tags so I can see easier who's is who's I think, great pressie ideas! I wanted something nice but not super expensive and not just the usual! Do you usually give out the gifts after speeches? As I think. If I got a nice necklace it would be nice to give it to the girls when we are getting ready.

When my friend got married I was one of her bridesmaids and she gave us necklace's that matched hers but with a different coloured gem, and she gave them to us when we were getting ready with her. So we could all wear them for the wedding. I thought it was a lovely idea x

Well I guess it all depends on what you get, if you get them something you would like them to wear on the day, then maybe when you're getting ready, but if they have their own jewellery to wear on the day, which I think I would prefer for my colour scheme, them maybe give them out with the rest of your presents? But again, it all depends on when you personally want to do it! If you start early then you could always try and hunt out cheaper jewellery by going on Ebay and trying to own auctions for the jewellery that you would like to get, but usually can't afford? I looked on Etsy and there's some really nice silver plated lockers on there for relatively cheap prices? Might sting you with postage though? But worth a look? Xx

I can only see paper ones at the mo.. I shall continue searching, although it's only for a little bottle to go in so maybe they don't need to be personalised to go on the table. When calculating your favour numbers do you include yourselves?! Or is that a stupid thing, I'm not fussed on giving myself a favour!

im personaly not a person for things that are personalised for a certain day. as its only for that day and a waste of money, like things that say bridesmaid etc, there not going to wear them / use them will just sit in a cuboard or on a shelf unworn/unused. So im opting to get my bms, a peice of jewelry to wear on the day to give them in the morning, then another small gift or maybe a peice of jewlery that is something i know they will like.
which is why probably appart from a 'Bride' sash, im opting for a tardis apron over a bride one, and a Wife and husband signs over groom and bride. and choosing actual personalisation things for my girls that will be true the day after the wedding aswell as on it.
