Is anyone having peonies for their wedding? Whether it's just in the bridal bouquet or as venue decoration too?
I absolutely love this flower and it will be the right time of year for them, but I saw one bouquet of just 5 stems in a shop yesterday and it was £6. I haven't actually looked in to florists as we have decided that we are doing all of our own flowers, but I did want to incorporate some peonies in to the wedding and was planning on ordering some in from a supermarket for delivery the day before.

I really wanted them but they'll be out if season for my September day. My florist said she could probably get some but they'll be more expensive and probably not as good quality

You could go to a flower wholesalers and that should be lot cheaper...
I love peonies too, I've just had three tattooed onto my ribs! PURE PAINAGE but so worth the result...

I think they are really pretty flowers too and they come in a range of colours. I'm going to look into having them as they are in season in May.
Beautiful flowers; go for them! Some flowers are just more expensive; I originally wanted Blue galaxy orchids but they were stupidly expensive.
