I am trying to find a make up artist in the London/Essex area for my wedding in July but I am finding it difficult to know what exactly I am looking for as I do not wear a lot of make up myself and to complicate matters further, I will be having a catholic wedding ceremony in the white dress and then be changing into a traditional lengha later in the evening about half way through the reception. I am not sure how best to deal with the outfit change as the traditional outfit will be red and asian make up is generally quite heavy which I think will not go with the white dress.
Can I ask if anybody has dealt with a similar matter, have they had their make up retouched to be slightly heavier when they changed or just had one look for the day? Also if anybody can give me any recommendations for a reasonably priced hair and make up artist, I would be appreciative.
Thank you in advance for any help.

I would just wear what you feel comfortable with for the first half of the ceremony and then for the second part, either make do or maybe see if there's a family member that could help out when you change?

You need to unrestict your profile so members can post links and details on your wall as it's not allowed on the forum.
I'll then also give you the details for the lady who did my hair and makeup. Highly recommend her. I had an RC wedding ceremony and am Chinese. She managed to get my hair and makeup perfect. She's based in Waltham Abbey Essex but she told me the furthest she's travelled to do hair and makeup for a wedding client is Las Vegas.

Thanks for the replies so far, unfortunately it's a rather large wedding and I think I'd be more comfortable leaving my face to a professional with that many people looking at me, I had wanted a far smaller wedding because I'm rather shy but at this point, it is what it is. Thank you InDreamland, I have done what I think would make my profile unrestricted and would really appreciate the details. Did you also have an outfit change?

Details on your wall.
I didn't do an outfit change, I was going to but in the end decided not to bother as I didn't want to spend so much on the wedding gown and not wear it all day. If I did change though the makeup would have been suitable for both dresses.
