    Hi everyone,

I know it is common to get nervous and have second thoughts about your wedding dress so I took advice and went to go try it on again just now. I am in love with the back of it but the front just does nothing for me. It's too bling on the corset and makes me look wide. The ladies said there is not much adjustment needed as it pretty much fits which it does. So I can't even think, well it'll look better when its fitted.

I paid the deposit and have come to terms with the fact I am going to loose it, that's fine. My fault, my penalty. What I'm worried about is that the dress is already in store, I've already tried it on. No fittings or adjustments have been made BUT... will they expect me to pay the final balance even if I say I don't want it anymore...

If no alterations are required, could you request another dress off the rack so to speak? Sorry you feel this way about your dress.

Thanks for the suggestion Lindsey! I'm 6'2 so any dress needs to be ordered extra long. I have time to order a new one so I'm not worried about that. Just scared they will want the full price of the dress if I decide I don't want it anymore.

I see you're getting married on Saturday, good luck and congratulations!!

The only thing you can do is ask them.

Is there any way the dress can be altered to be more what you like? What sort of thing do you have in mind now?

You're right Emily, I will have to bite the bullet and ask them.

I did ask them to sew the sweetheart neckline together a bit as it was a bit too plunge for me and they said I don't need to do that.

Now I really like the look of the full Pronovias satin dresses, mainly because they have pockets.

Sorry you dont like your dress. I agree with everyone here. You have to ask them. I would actually try to be a little cheeky and see if they would let me transfer the deposit to another dress just so you dont loose a huge chunk. Best of luck

Hi Charlotte, you def need to ask the shop ref their policy. I have heard of other ladies changing their minds and transferring deposits on to another dress. However I wonder if this was during the production phase as it were? I fell for a dress I saw online but couldn't find a stockist anywhere less than a 4 hour drive to enable me to try it on. The designer no longer had a sample as once uk stores have made their purchases all left over dresses are shipped to Italy. At one point I was seriously considering ordering it without ever having tried it on. Having spoke to a local bridal store that stocked the designer I asked what would happen if I paid the deposit, ordered the dress and then didn't love it when I finally got to try it on. I asked the question would I be able to transfer money already paid to another dress? They said no. Effectively once the dress arrived in store it would be mine and I would be obliged to pay any outstanding balance for it. Hence why I decided it was too big a risk to take. Good luck
