I don't think my makeup changed at all during the day! it didn't seem to rub or wear off I don't think. I didn't do much though to make it to be fair x

It was a pallet I think, I had my eyes closed all the way through but I'm sure it was. I can always find something pretty much the same though, I don't think it'll be difficult. I might ask her about crying too. With it being airbrushed I'll have to see what will go with it if I need touch ups.

We went for our pre wedding photo shoot this morning! Was a bit tense at the beginning and a little strange being in front of the camera, but we eventually got into it a bit. The pictures from the shoot will go in our guest book in our package, or if we want (depending on if we like them all or just some) we can add some others photos of us to mix them up a little.

We also organised our shot list for the day, and designed our photo album for the wedding photos! Its come up a little extra as we've upgraded some of the materials and paper quality etc but I'm really looking forward to seeing it all put together :)

6 weeks and counting!

I was kind of picking my favourite 2 and I could tell OH just wanted the cheaper one but we got the better one and I think hell be glad we did when it comes to it lol.

I made my hen bags tonight! They look really cute, Im pleased with them :) Just need to print of the little name tags that Ive designed (just on Word mind) and theyll be perfect.

The part he seemed less likely to go for was the thicker pages but I really wanted them but didnt want to be pushy so said he can choose, but agreed with me anyway. We upgraded to an acryllic cover (you choose the leather for the spine too to keep it the same width on the cover) and if we went for the thin pages which were included in the price the Photog said it would eventually wear away and the spine would drop because of the weight and it would have nothing to sit on. The boys think we're just being picky and perfectionists but they dont think about AFTER the wedding whereas we do lol.

I was going to get the pre-filled ones but it all mainly sounded like cheap stuff when you were paying more for it to be prefilled. Off the top of my head I've got:

Lip balm
Princess plasters
Ibuprofen
Hair bobbles
Polos
Mini maoams
Lollipop
Mini love hearts (with a personalised hen sticker)
Wet wipes
Mini nail varnish
Emergency tights (come in 3s in pr!mark)

& a cherry/apple sour shot

Sounds like a lot like that but looks like the perfect amount in the bag because its all very small things! Wowzers haha.

Doing the bags got me really excited!

Also tried on my dress for my hen on Friday but don't feel like it sits right with a bra. I've tried it without one and it looks better, but I don't really want to not wear one! Might have a look for a new bra in town tomorrow, something with a low front might work.

Thanks! It got me really excited making them. I don't really get excited for things until I have to do something for it or until the night before (apart from the wedding in general of course!)

Well we finally got our pre shoot photos and we LOVE them! There are 48 but these are some of the favourites! We have to chose at least 14 to go in our guestbook, which will be easy!

Well... Hen update! Ill try and keep it brief so its not an hour long read!

Our train to Liverpool was just after 5 and we had a few drinks and snacks on the way down. We met two of the girls at our hotel as one lives there for uni and the other got an earlier train. We had about half hour to get changed and ordered taxis for our meal. We ended up being quite a bit late, but it was fine and we got to our table. We had a deal that was for 2 courses and half a bottle of house wine each. I had my first ever steak and it was lovely! Anyway, we got the bill and nobody would let me see! But apparently it worked out about £20 each - wow considering that was three bottles of wine between us, 3 steaks and 3 chicken dishes and desserts each!


We got to the next place (again late - domino effect!) where they had reserved us a booth where there was £140 behind the bar?! Wow. We could either have 3 cocktails each and a bottle of prosecco or just get any drink we wanted, and majority voted to just get whatever, and we mainly got cocktails anyway. I had 3 cocktails in there and with every round we ot a tray of shots betwen us (my cousin wouldn't have any shots to save herself for the next days activity!) so the leftover one was being passed around until somebody drank it haha.


We stayed there for a while until the tab had been used up and the club was closing so we decided to go to Popworld which was 90s music! This is where we had our nightmare with taxis. We had to order two at a time and the first one always came straight away. Me, my cousin and friend waited for the second one outside the club, there was lots of ringing back in between but it FINALLY turned up 45 MINUTES later! We were absoutely freeeezing and werent really in the mood for anything else but we were excited for 90s music so we got over it and went in and soon perked up. Then again, after not that long in there it closed and ordered two taxis again. This time me, MIL and bm waited. Wasn't quite as long as the last time but we still waited about half hour!

We got back to the hotel at 5, me and MIL shared a room and my bm Vicki who got the last taxi with us came in with a bottle of prosecco. So we started drinking that while MIL was trying to warm up in bed and she gave us the rest of the doritos from the train and we sat munching and drinking it in bed! We had a little natter - next thing I knew the clock said 06:18 and we decided to wind down! No idea what time I got to sleep, but we were up around 9ish. MIL got up, made a cuppa and started pottering about and I was dead to the world and didnt even hear Vicki leave as she fell asleep in my bed and left her room-mate for the night in the next room alone! We got up and 5 out of 6 of us went for breakfast then went back up to get changed into our 'gym attire'

We ordered more taxis and AGAIN, ended up late for the second one not turning up again! We got to our destination where even the taxi driving wasnt sure of its location, started walking around the building (lots of different floors and businesses in different rooms!) looking for where we needed to be. Eventually found it and the first thing I saw through the window was POLES! I was like ooooh nooooo haha. Us first three all stood inside really nervously waiting for others to turn up! We had an hour of pole dancing! I think we were all terrified at first but the woman doing the class was really lovely and joined in on the banter so made it really easy to get into it. By the end we'd all really enjoyed it and just generally had a laugh. Also, neither of us realised that the poles spin so were all surprised when we finally hopped on and we twirled right round rather fast haha!


When we left the building we decided to try and find a rank taxi and one managed to pull over for us and all 6 of us jumped in and my cousin sat on the floor to avoid the recurring taxi issue! We went back to the hotel for our bags and chilled out for half hour before our final activity! My auntie was really hungover so laid down for 10 minutes then said she was going to be sick so my MIl had to run out of the toilet with her trousers round her ankles worrying she wouldnt make it haha! My auntie then decided to get the earlier train home with one of the other girls who couldnt get the saturday off work. My auntie said she 'couldn't manage another strenuous activity' which of course got me thinking 'oh noo' cause we were all so tired and feeling a bit 'blerghh' They walked back to the train station which apparently wasnt too far from where we stayed and us last 4 got in a taxi to our final destination.

We turned up to the Hilton Hotel for afternoon tea! It was lovely and I was SO pleased we could just relax and not do anything 'strenuous'! It felt as if we had been there about 2 hours. The lady came over and offered us traditional tea or champagne afternoon tea, and we all just looked at each other and said 'teas and coffees' and started chuckling haha. If we had done that first before the night out it would have definitely been champagne! Considering I have a massive sweet tooth I couldn't get enough of the sandwiches! We had as much food as we could and just sat and talked for ages :) It was lovely and cosy and was probably my favourite part! :)


When we'd finished and finally decided to leave (we were TOO comfortable!) we got the train back home just after 4 and got home just before 7ish. We got my fiance to order tea for collection before he picked us up and got a gorgeous kebab to unwind and then went to bed and was asleep by half 10!

It was a lovely weekend, as on the Sunday even though it was all over me and OH went to Sedgefield races and then got an email from our photographer with the link to our pre-shoot photos, so it was the perfect way to finish it all off :)

Next stop - wedding!

Really looking forward to going to our venue for afternoon two for our anniversary this month as a surprise, although admittedly I don't think it'll be as nice as the H!lton! x

They absolutely spoiled me! I didn't even spend £20! So grateful :)

I really didnt lol! My cousin said it was originally suggested as a joke and they all laughed, then said well actually why not? They wanted to keep part of it 'henny' haha.

They went down very well and came in rather useful! We also got another one from them which was lovely too! x
