Oh I bet that's what would happen to us Elinor! Was thinking about doves until my mum nearly had freak out at a wedding fair we went to and they had some there in cages, thought my mum was going to have a panic attack! Never realised that they had that effect on her! Plus not sure that FMIL & FSIL like birds either lol

So since my dress is mainly silver in detailing; we decided to go with silver and red instead of red/gold. My flowers originally had gold ribbons e.t.c so my creative silver re-designed them with silver,white ribbon and lace :) They look amazing!

Right so went to Solihull with my family and a certain shop had a 50% sale off wedding stuff so ended up buying these. The numbers themselves were reduced from £5 to £2.50 and then the holders were reduced from £3 t0 £1.50 each but my mum managed to get them at 75p so everything should have come to about £13 and I got everything for £7 odd :)

Yeah got the suits sorted on Saturday; h2b got fitted and measured and looks great in his suit (I got dragged along) but apparently it was too early to measure everyone else. That's fine but wish he would have told me before we arranged for everyone to come down. Oh well they got to see the suits.

I shall post pics laster when I'm feeling up to it.

Paid the £100 deposit so £160 left to pay on the day of pick up :)

Right that's some more things sorted now.

Went to a the Brandon Hall Wedding fayre on Monday evening and booked our cake :D! We also fell in love with the strawberry Tower and managed to stretch our budget to include that as well :D Pictures to follow.

We've also decided on where we are going to go for honeymoon - Grecotel El Greco in Rethymnon (Greece) :) All inclusive and some excellent snorkelling and scuba diving opportunities :) Going to book next week :)

Yeah booked our honeymoon. £212 online saving :) £2195 altogether to include 'select your seat's and late check out as our return flight is 11:45pm and won't go home till 3am.

So excited though; we have a double room with a sea and pool view :)

Oh and gave notice today; went fine for me but they wouldn't allow h2b to complete his as apparently he didn't have a full birth certificate :( So his has been arranged for the 30th July 2014 so he'll go again and show them his 'full' birth certificate despite the fact that he had his mother's birth certificate too...

Paid the £70 for us both and now have £324 left to pay which I will pay after we have competed the questionnaire which he will get on the 30th :)

I think it is wrong though that if the fees go up before out wedding then we are expecting to pay the difference...

Yeah h2b was finally able to give his side of the notice yesterday (wouldn't accept his birth certificate before as it wasn't full apparently...) so we have paid all the fees; that's £398 we no longer need to worry about :)

Also choose our vows and readings :) Exciting :)

Just booked trials for me and my bridesmaid for next Saturday; so excited :) A bit miffed that mum has persuaded me to pay for the trials but if it keeps everyone happy then all's good :)

Getting hair and make up trials for me and my two bridesmaids done today. :D I will update with pics when I can :)

Also tried my new dress on last Saturday and it fits perfectly except the hem is a little wide over my breasts but nothing a modesty bow can't fix; will update with those pics too once I get them from my mum :D

Well the hair and make up trials went well for me and my bridesmaids (All for £225 :) )
