One of my friends text yesterday saying she'd noticed on fb that id been stressing over our wedding recently..I explained it was due to us wanting to get married abroad but H2Bs mum is claustraphobic and has panic attacks so wont fly so wont be coming to our wedding..which in turn means H2Bs dad wont be coming either!

I told her that I know my mum is coming and my sisters their partners my neice and also my MOH her partner and son but H2bs parents wont be there...

It doesnt seem right to me even though H2b says he doesnt mind we'll just have a party when we get back-as a mother myself I would be really gutted to miss my sons wedding so feel really down about it all BUT we really want to get married abroad in Cyprus.

My friend then said can she get there any other way besides flying?!! Its now got me thinking MAYBE we could get her to come some other way?!?!!

Any ideas or suggestions please

My friend is getting married in Italy and her family are driving down! Maybes they could drive so far then ferry the rest, it's definitely something you could look into although it will take them a while! x

I just typed how to get to crprus without flying into yahoo and it came up with a few ideas, train and ferry takes about 5 days but there were other options too, good luck xx

The people I used to work with went to a wedding in cyprus without flying as he was scared of planes! They got trains and then a ferry, not sure where they got on the ferry though, but I know it took them a few days to get there and back so they only spent a couple of days actually in cyprus but they were gone for 2 weeks! And it also cost a lot more than a plane ticket would have xxx
